This is the 5th major Black Car RPG project. The first four projects focused on the Kitty heroes, but did have a few villains. Some time in 2023 I started doing some sketches for various kitty villains, and even released a few as stand alone pins. Then in 2024 I did a few sketches of Liches (powerful undead spell casters) and I asked myself, what would a powerful undead kitty look like if they were a Barbarian instead of a Wizard? Or a Ranger? The next thing I knew I had sketches for every class!
I was all set to do a campaign of just undead kitties and then panic set in. What if people didn't like undead or villains. What if people just wanted heroic black cats?!
There was only one reasonable solution...Do BOTH!
And so, now we have a massive celebratory Black Cat RPG campaign featuring undead and heroic kitties of all 13 classes and MORE! Come join me in this amazing 5th installment of the Black Cat RPG Universe!
I have designed all of these awesome Yellow Duck RPG pins, but having so many pins produced can get pretty expensive. In addition, I don't really know which designs will be popular and which will not.

You pledge money to this campaign, then when the campaign is over BackerKit collects the money from you and gives it to me. I then use that money to pay my production partner to make the pins. Then when I receive the finished pins I inspect them for quality, package them up, and ship them out to you!
It can take a while for all of that to happen, but at the end of it we have brought something awesome into the world that didn't exist before.

Projects like this can take a fair amount of time, so your patience and understanding are appreciated as we work through the process together. Below is an approximate timeline for this project.
January: Project is launched
February: Project ends
Early March: Backer surveys are sent out
Late March: Main pin order is placed with my production partner.
June: Pins are received from production partner and inspected and individually packaged.
July: Pins are shipped to their new homes!
The pins may be shipped earlier than the above estimates if things go exceptionally smoothly, or later if something catastrophic happens.
You will receive one pin of your choice from the campaign. You will also be able to add additional campaign pins in the pledge manager for $14 each.

For those with more specific taste, at the Custom Kitty reward tier I will work with you to design a Custom Kitty and have it produced as hard enamel pins. Once the pins have been produced you will receive twenty (20) pins of your choice from this Series 5 campaign. Get 20 of your Custom Kitty or swap some out for other pins from this project, it is all up to you!
I, Joshua Pinkas, will retain all rights to the resulting design and will be able to sell and distribute additional pins or any other derivative work in perpetuity.
Custom Kitties don't have to play by the 'rules'. While it could be inspired by an RPG player class it doesn't have to be. Maybe a sci-fi cowboy kitty is more up your alley, or three small kitties in a trench coat pretending to be a much larger kitty! If it generally can fit under the banner of the Fantasy or Science Fiction genres it is fair game!
The resulting design will be similar in size and style to the other designs in this campaign and will also become selectable as a reward by other backers of this campaign!
No nudity, lewdness, gore, or obviously offense concepts will be allowed. I reserve the right to refund your pledge in full and cease work on the custom kitty if for some reason we are unable to come to an agreement on the final design.
If you pledge at this tier and want pins in addition to the 20 described above please add an additional $12 US per pin you would like.
