Fatebound is a dice-less, Tarot-driven TTRPG where you step into the dark academic world of young witches at a military academy, training to become Fates, the most powerful witches in Witchdom. Players must navigate a brutal, high-stakes environment filled with dangerous Trials, fierce competition, and backstabbing intrigue.
The elite guardians of magical law, Fates handle serious threats to the magical community. Tasked with the dual roles of enforcement and protection, Fates handle everything ranging from breaches of the Covenants to both internal and external dangers. As the most visible arm of the Witches' Council, Fates are both respected and feared, seen as the ultimate upholders of order within Witchdom.
The elite training ground of future Fates. Admission is by invitation alone and does not guarantee a place as a Fate because the dropout and failure rates are extremely high. Out of the 99 chosen each year to enter Aetheria Academy only 15 on average graduate six years late.

The Covenant of the Twilight Crossroads calls for the Fates to protect interdimensional boundaries, so there is no better partnership for Fatebound than the Publishing Goblin project Confluence: The Living Archive, a genre-blending TTRPG where Confluxes pull people, places, and things from one world to another. If you back both campaigns at PDF level or higher you will receive an exclusive adventure combining our systems when we both fully fund. In The Fates of Those Who Dream you will play as first-year students and Walkers of the Dream, a group of people tasked with keeping the waking world safe from nightmares. Student Yikun Ma has been pulled to The Dream realm, creating a new Gate between Aetheria Academy and the world of Ajurea. Nightmares leak through the gate and dreams become real, roaming the school's halls. Your group must find Yikun in The Dream and get home before the forces wreak havoc on both worlds. The adventure will combine Fatebound's Tarot system with the Confluence Dice system and give you a taste of how flexible these games can be.

2nd Year - Fatebound Hardcover + PDF - $40 (Physical Tier)
Congratulations on passing your first-year Trials. At this tier, you will receive a physical copy and PDF of the Fatebound Core Rulebook.
3rd Year - Fatebound PDF + Reaper PDF + Fate PDF - $45 (Digital Tier)
You have survived two years of Aetheria Academy and have set yourself apart from your peers. At this tier, you will receive PDF copies of the Core Rulebook, Fate's Expansion, and Reaper Expansion.
4th Year - Physical Books + PDF - $90 (Physical Tier)
Three-fourths of your starting class has either abandoned their journey or have fallen short of expectations yet you remain. At this tier, you will receive physical and PDF copies of the Core Rulebook, Fate's Expansion, and Reaper Expansion.
5th Year - All in - Physical Books + PDF + GM Screen + Card Draw Mat - 120 (Physical Tier)
Your journey at Aetheria Academy is almost at an end. You have proven your skills and are at the top of the class. May those underclassmen cower before you. At this tier, you will receive physical and PDF copies of the Fatebound Core Rulebook, Fate's Expansion, and Reaper Expansion. You will also receive the Fatebound GM Screen and Card Draw Mat!
Fate Graduate - All in + Student Portrait - $200 (Physical Tier)
You are one of the remaining 15 Fatebound who have survived your harrowing time at Aetheria Academy. You are now Fates. At this tier, you will receive physical and PDF copies of the Core Rulebook, Fate's Expansion, and Reaper Expansion. You will also receive the Fatebound GM Screen and Card Draw Mat! And you will be featured in the Fatebound Core Rulebook as a student drawn by our talented artist, Hannah Rivera.
Fatebound utilizes a dice-less Tarot resolution system. Players draw a three card set and determine success based off of the Minor and Major Arcana drawn. Each Major Arcana presents an opportunity for additional narrative control on the part of the Player or Storyteller based on the position of the card drawn.
Aetheria Academy is the proving ground where Fatebound students prove they have the merit and skill to become Fates. Each of the Five Years at Aetheria Academy, will be filled with rigorous courses that will test your magical and physical capabilities. To be a Fatebound means to live up to the standards of Fates and upholding the Covenant of Witchdom. To ascend to your next year, you must pass all Seven Trials. And failure means the end of your time at Aetheria Academy.
Your trials at the Academy are not limited to your classes and trials. Each other Fatebound presents a chance at new friendship or bitter rivalry. Every upperclassman will see you as a resource to exploit. Your nights at Aetheria Academy will be filled with joyous memories of slumber parties and movie nights, intermixed with plots of revenge and sabotage.
