Project Update: A Playtester Review in the last 12 hours
A solo adventure of knight errantry, where the aim of the aspiring trio is to accumulate glory points. Opportunities are plentiful in an adventuring sandbox; combat is usually an option, but negotiations might work, alliances can be forged; previous actions/outcomes can open up extra possibilities. A sophisticated structure of plot words gives a lot of player freedom; much replay value.
Two playtests to report: the first ended in narrow defeat in a desperate combat; the second in triumph (for the two survivors) despite a number of close calls. Both lasted over a month of game days.
If you enjoyed the Belladonna adventures or Dragon Hunt, you should pick this up. The David Pulver/Gaming Ballistic collaborations are amongst the best programmed solos written for any game system.
Highly recommended.
With the campaign ending tonight, I'd ask you jump on board if you're going to!
If you're new to TFT or want to try it, this one and Dark Lord's Doom make for outstanding introductions to the system.
Project Update: A Wrap…unless the backer train keeps rolling
So if you’re looking for an excuse to jump on board, every pledge extends the campaign by a few more minutes. Now is the time!
Project Update: Closing in: Last Day and a Half
If you've been following, now is the time to decide, and of course I would like it very much if you would decide to pledge.
For what it's worth, I just finished - and sent to David, the artists, and playtesters (plus my Patreon subscribers, who get to see all this stuff first) - a customer-ready-I-hope version of the book, for final review. All art, hyperlinking, bar-coding, spell-checking, and the like are done. I hope to have the cards ready to go by Saturday.
With that ... I'll leave you to it, and once again ask for your support as the project closes.

I already have Dark Lords Doom and don't want to buy duplicate cards. Why not make an add on option for the previous releases the includes both the adventure and the cards? Right now you can only get the cards as a whole bundle. I would totally buy the other four adventures if that option were available.
Project Update: Warlock Knight Q&A Scheduled tonight at 7pm Central Time
This will be my very first livestream, so I'd beg patience with an old Doug.

But if you have questions about Warlock Knight, Gaming Ballistic's plans and product for TFT, or GB's RPG plans in general, I'm happy to answer.
If I learn more, I'll amend this post!
This is what the Backerkit guide says about streaming:
Live streaming is a great way to connect with your supporters in real time. You have the opportunity to integrate live streaming into your project, bringing your project to life for both your current backers and potential future fans.
When you set up streams for your project, the stream will take over project card where the project image typically is, and will also be visible on the Community tab. Backers can participate in the local streaming platform chat straight from BackerKit, or comment on the stream via BackerKit if they don't have a streaming platform account.
This stream has ended. Rewatch it now!
I’ll try for the tomorrow time, which was the second choice.
Sorry! Parenting comes first.
Project Update: Heading into the Weekend with Warlock Knight!
Art and Manuscript Progress
First, I've started to get more and more artwork from the team. Looking really, really good.
This has the three sample PCs, with space left for a title image. which is going to be an "arriving at the starting point" montage. I've seen the sketch, and I should see more of it in the next day or so.
There's more art I can show; I don't want to do too much because I want to avoid too many spoilers.
But here's a cutie:
How can you not want to hug that face? If friend-shaped, why not friend?
Campaign Progress
Won't beat around the bush: I'm pretty pleased where this is going and I hope the pace continues. The hardly every reliable BackerTracker is placing a final landing zone at a funding level north of $30K, which would really, really let me get a jump start on the artwork for Isle of Elazar as well as the Sea Hag's Wrath adventure.
Even so, a reminder that this is a short campaign, it ends in one week on Friday (on June 28th), and this is the only weekend. So if you're contemplating jumping on, sooner is better than later, though there will be late pledges once I get back to my desk in mid-July (I'm on holiday for the first two weeks in July, but since that's the time Backerkit is doing their pledge collection and such, that won't matter).
I still think I'll be in a good place to distribute ALL digital rewards (thinks about that ... yeah, I think it's still true) on or about July 15.
Then it's just "the faster the surveys come in, the faster I can order the print books and cards."
So that's it for now! Have a great weekend, and if you're still thinking about joining the campaign, please come on board!

Monster Card Deck (Physical, ~50 cards) <---- Are these 50 new cards for this adventure module?

I'm sure this has been asked, but I can't find the answer... I have the prior entire series for OSE / Basic D&D. Then I saw the whole series for Fantasy Trip. Now there's a new adventure, but it seems like there's no OSE option. What gives?

I rather like the various solo adventures, they work well for me now that all of my gamer friends have moved away. This should be fun!

I'm not doing a good job of keeping track. Was the Isle of Sedra source book in a previous backer kit? If my book case were better organized, I'd check there...
