Welcome to the tea party! Except it's not a regular tea party, the tea here seems... magical! The concept of this pin collection is the following: what would a tea party look like if lots of magic was involved? Look forward to three sub-collections, each with their own theme and color scheme!

The Pin Designs
All the pins are hard enamel and gold-plated. The non-mini pins will all be backstamped and come with two pin posts to minimize the risk of losing them while wearing. They all have a glow-in-the-dark effect. The sizes of the pins range from 4-6cm, the smallest being the cherry blossom tea cup at 4cm, most other cups and tea bags at around 4.5cm, and the tea pots at around 5.5-6cm depending on the specific decor of each design.

Project Goal Tiers
Please read this section carefully if you're unfamiliar with how pin campaigns work!
As it is usual with pin project, our base goal funds only the first pin design. Each additional design requires more funds to do, so each additional 200€ raised will unlock the next pin, up until 2200 after which all designs become available for choice! The unlocking order is tea bag - tea cup - tea pot for each set, and the sets unlock in the following order: starry tea - green tea - cherry blossom tea as the pre-launch poll has shown that most of you want the first two sets.
When you make your pledge, you only select the amount of pins you want, and you make your choice from all the unlocked pins *after* the campaign. Please do pledge for all pin designs that you want to get right away, so we have a higher chance to unlock it - you can still modify your pledge until the end, or cancel it if your favourite pins do not get unlocked.
The tea items are also all available as stickers and keychains! All these addons are available right away.

Stickers
Stickers will have a glitter lamination foil and be around 6-8cm. They'll be professionally made from waterproof vinyl that you can put on water bottles and they'll survive dishwashing.

Keychains
All designs are also available as keychains! All keychains will be 6.5cm in size regardless of design and have a rainbow border. Here's a picture of the tea bags as keychains, but you can pick any of the available designs.

The planned timeline is as follows: January-February: Campaign runs. February: Survey, payment collection March: Survey gets sent, and once 80% of backers filled out their survey, the order of pins will be placed and orders will be locked. April-May: Expected delivery of pins May-June: Fulfillment
This timeline has generous amounts of slack factored in and should be realistic based on my previous experiences with crowdfunding. Please do keep in mind there may still be further delays depending on unforeseen problems during international logistics etc.
I will ship using either DHL Warenpost International Premium or USPS Smartmail via Transglobal Express. Both have shipping insurance and tracking, and should arrive within 1-2 weeks worldwide. Important: the pledge tiers do not include the shipping cost! So when making your pledge, please take a note of the following shipping costs.
Shipping Costs (! Charged after campaign !) Germany: 4€ Europe: 7€ Rest of the world: 10€ This is valid no matter the amount of pins you buy.
When the rewards are ready to be fulfilled, I will leave a tracking number in your Backerkit pledge account and you should then get an email. Please do keep an eye on it from time to time, because insurance is only valid within a certain timeframe (usually within a month after the last scan in case it gets lost).
If you are outside of the EU, additional import taxes/tariffs might be charged. I do not collect these in the campaign.
This is a crowdfunding project and as such, there may be some challenges on the way. Please do familiarize yourself with the risks before pledging!
Delays I have sketched out a timeline that is generously factoring in a certain amount of delays already. Ideally, we should always be ahead of that timeline, but that being said, the opposite could still happen since a lot can happen in the manufacturing and shipping process.
Design Changes All images provided are design mock-ups. They will not perfectly translate 1:1 into the real product in color, line thickness and other minor details, but I am doing my best to provide the manufacturers all the info they need to make it as accurate as possible.
Funds There is no risk of the funds running out to the point of endangering the fulfillment of this project. I am committed to this project and if the raised funds are not sufficient, I will pay the difference out of pocket.
Quality Issues Lastly, there is a risk of the manufacturer providing poor quality pins. Most pins do have some minor imperfections but they are usually not very visible, the rate of pins with more visible flaws can range from 5%-20% usually. In order to offset this, I will make sure to order at least 50% more pins than needed, so that there will be enough high quality pins for everyone who pledged.
Lastly - let me introduce mysel! My name is Averil (or Ming, in real life) and I run DoomBloomArt, a little art shop. Tea from all around the world has been a staple in my work from the start in many different forms. I have a little series of artworks where I personify tea into liquid girls and often draw tea as some sort of magical or ritualistic piece, and this series is the continuation of that.
