Project Update: Bulk Order Placed!
Hi all, just wanted to share that the bulk order has officially been placed for the star bags and star wallets. We're a little early in the estimated timeline but the bags likely won't be finished before the Chinese Spring Festival as we need to spend some time confirming the final color swatches in cowhide leather for the additional colorways that weren't sampled. I'll make sure to share previews here as they're being developed, thanks!

Project Update: Locking the Survey!
Hey all! Thanks so much for answering the survey, I've got most of the answers in to start counting inventory for the bulk order! I will be locking orders on 12/10 so please answer the Backerkit survey or my email before that time. After that date, I will be locking inventory count and you'll only be able to pick from the extra inventory for your colorway so please make so I can get an accurate count of which colors are needed. Thank you!

Project Update: Survey Sent!
Hello! Hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving! I've stated sending out the surveys for bag & wristlet color selection so I can collect the information necessary to proceed with the bulk order. For people who used the Pay Over Time feature, Backerkit will not let you access the survey until the payment plan is completed so I sent emails directly to your listed email to collect your answers. Please make sure to check and reply when you can. I'll ideally like to place the bulk order by the end of December so the bags can be in process before the coming holidays. If you don't receive a survey email from Backerkit or Dandy Puppeteer, please contact me asap so I can get that to you. Thank you and Happy Holidays! :)

Project Update: Campaign Over! Next Steps!
Hello! The campaign has ended, thank you so much for supporting Dandy Puppeteer's second leather bag design! I'm so happy to know there's still strong interest in these kinds of quality bags so I will definitely design even more in the future!
Over the next two weeks, Backerkit is going to start charging cards for the campaign. In the event the payment doesn't clear properly, Backerkit will email you with some reminders until the cutoff date. If the payment is not processed before the cutoff date, Backerkit will automatically cancel the pledge so please make sure to pay attention to this if you still want to receive the items from the collection. Shortly after, I will send the survey regarding your color/hardware selection. For people who ordered bundles or multiple individual items, you'll be able to decide the color of every piece so getting matching colors of everything is not required. For those who did Pay Over Time, Backerkit will not let you receive the survey until the payment plan is finished so I'll be contacting you individually to record your selection for my bulk order count.
Once payments are processed, the funds have been sent to me, and the survey responses are all gathered, production will begin. The estimated delivery is June 2025 with factories in China being closed from January to February. This was accounted for in the timeline and hopefully everything goes smoothly this time so the bags can be to you guys earlier.

Project Update: Fully Funded!
Hi everyone! I'm so honored to announce that the campaign has reached its funding goal! The star bags & wristlets will be made! Thank you for helping make this project a reality, it's only possible through support from the community so it's deeply deeply appreciated! When I first started designing leather bags, I was nervous about it. While people had requested for lolita bags to be made with higher quality materials, I wasn't sure if there would actually be interest in it. Thank you for proving to me again that this is something I should be creating. I'm looking forward to sharing the final versions of these bags with you guys and planning new designs for the future! We still have 26 days to go for the campaign so I'm looking forward to seeing where it ends up, if the goal gets higher, I can consider things like maybe custom star hardware for the zipper pulls. Once again, thank you for the support!! :)
