Hello! So happy to share that the first additional colorway sample has been completed: Wine x Black! I'm really happy with the end result so I wanted to share the photos here immediately.

The only change I see is the inside pocket color, I'd ideally like it to also be wine color also instead of black. One note, the supplier we're sourcing the tassel lace from does not have a solid black lace, only black & white and black & gold so this and other black fur cat bags will have the black & gold version (Except Harlequin). I know it would be ideal to have all black tassels but this is a current limitation of sourcing, I hope this will be okay!

There were additional changes to the Pink x White as mentioned last time so I wanted to also share those photos here. The changes were:

The Black x Wine and the Pink x White cats will be mailed to me for final review of the design & colors in person before proceeding with the additional 7 colors. At the current sampling time pace, it looks like the survey might get pushed to September. Hello everyone! Wanted to post a quick update about the Meow Carousel Plush Bag. I've been working with the manufacturer on updating the Pink x White version of the bag with final changes because this will be the version that all the new colorways will be based off of. The sample revision process has been taking a bit longer than expected and we're still working out some last details but I wanted to share some updates anyway so you know what's going on!

Some details that changed so far:

There's still some things that need to be fixed like matching colors and getting the sizing/alignments on certain things tightened so hopefully that'll all be finalized by mid June. Once the details of this are finalized, I'll proceed with sampling the additional colors, yay! Most of the pledges were collected and I successfully received the campaign funds from Backerkit. Unfortunately, there was around ~$1,000 of pledges that didn't get collected/were possibly abandoned so I might have to pause on bulk ordering the last unlocked colorway Harlequin. I'm going to proceed with making the sample as mentioned before and see if I can cover the cost difference. I want to make sure I have final samples of everything first before proceeding with the survey so everyone gets an opportunity to see the final product before deciding on color so thanks so much for waiting!

Wow wow wow, thank you so much! At the end of the campaign, we reached the final bonus goal exactly. The final monochrome colorway Harlequin has officially been unlocked! It will be available in the campaign survey for colorway selection!

Because we reached all the stretch goals and even the bonus goal, I'll be giving away a 2nd matching sticker in every pledge order and giving away a 2nd Meow Carousel Plush Bag! I'll pick 2 random backers to receive the extra bags. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so so much for helping making this project a success!

So what's next? Pledges will be charged over the next two weeks. Please make sure to check that your payment information is up to date within Backerkit so your pledge is not cancelled. Once all the pledges have processed and Backerkit transfers the funds to me, I'll begin sampling the 8 new colorways. During the campaign, I already ordered a final revised version of the Pink x White colorway with some minor updates so that's being worked on before proceeding with safety testing. All new colorways will be following this structure. After the colorways are sampled, I'll send out the survey so everyone can see the final versions of each color before committing to it and then the production order will be placed when the surveys are answered.
