Happy New Year, everyone! I’m Ruby, the new Marketing Lead here at Crossed Paths. I’m super excited to be joining the team and keeping you in the loop with all the updates for all things Brambletrek!
Let’s jump right in:
📦 All Printed and Packed! That’s right - production is officially complete, and everything’s ready to roll! Next up: safety tests, then shipping - we’re in the home stretch now!
⚠️ What Safety Tests? The Brambletrek rewards will all have to go through the safety tests required for products shipping internationally under new regulations (this includes the new GPSR rules for the EU). Once that’s done, our shipping partners should be able to give us estimated delivery timelines to get everything to you.
💼 Welcome to the Team: Crossed Paths has also spent some time on the hiring train and is finally growing with two new team members!
Jan, our In-House Artist, is already working on stunning illustrations and concept art.

Just an update on production. As you can imagine we've picked the worst time of the year to get things printed since we're so close to Christmas and we've definitely been affected by the rush.
We do want to make sure we mention that at this stage we have little to no control over how fast things are done so we will push for updates but it is currently out of our hands!
All that said, we do have an early delivery schedule based on current estimations but it's important to keep in mind that it's exactly that, estimations.
All of this should be taken with a grain of salt and if anything changes we'll update you as soon as possible!
ESTIMATED DATES AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE
As always we can't wait for everyone to get their pledge rewards and be able to play the game in person!
I recently received the final Print Production Samples for the Book, Journal, Cards & Map.
Now a few things changed in the process and as a result some of the rewards have changed.
Originaly I promised an A5 (5.8in by 8.3in) hardcover book with B/W Artwork with 60+ pages but that has now been changed to an 100+ page A4 (8.3 in by 11.7 in) Hard Cover with fully coloured illustrations!
The Journal was an A5 Spiral Notebook but is now an A4 PU Leatherbound Journal with upgraded paper to make the writing experience even better.
The Map was orignally a smaller size at the same 8.3 in by 11.7 in and would have been paper to be easier to fold into your orders but it is now 5.8in by 8.3in and made of cloth so those who wish to hang it up can do so!. (One thing you may notice is that it is now a Map of Akeroth & not a map of Hyhill, this is due to printing issues with my original drawing and commissioning a new artist would have delayed printing and as this is a free add-on I wanted to make sure we had the book completed and delivered.)
As promised the cards have been made in full colour and new designs are drawn for all the royal cards & jokers!

Not only that but I also had the Character Sheets and Journal completely redrawn by hand to give you these gorgeous new designs!

These will be packaged up as a PDF in the final Backerkit Download Update (sad horns) but if you are so inclined, feel free to download these images and print them off right now!
This means we are now entering mass production, since there are so many aspects to the production and we are doing it all with the same company we will update you with Shipping Date estimates as we near closer to completion as after that everything is forwarded to our delivery partners who will handle that side of things.
I will preface now that updates will slow down considerably due to things now being out of my control but I will still be aiming for an update every 2 months just to stay on top of things but if I have pertinant information you will get those updates immediately.
All of this is to say that we are almost at the end of this campaign and I could not be happier that I have been able to make so many improvements to the game to make this the definitive Brambletrek experience.
