So I am very excited about running this game! I love TTRPGs of every kind. My friends aren’t as into roll play, but they are into punk culture. I thought this would be the perfect way for us to share our interests. So I am going to run this for them. But I don’t really know anything about punk culture (I know I’ll do better). What are some songs I should listen to, books I should read, or movies I should watch so I don’t embarrass myself in front of my friends?
Project Update: Production Update
Just a quick update to keep you in the loop.
After a bit of to-ing and fro-ing over Pantone printing issues, we are finally underway with the books. We are printing 3000 copies, so at this point I can't get an exact date for when we will receive them, but that will be nailed down in the next couple of weeks.
We also have the BM screens in printing and the boxes for the World Tour pledges (these will be printed much quicker).
As soon as I have photos of any of these, I will get them posted for you.
Finally, I will be uploading the latest version of the PDF tomorrow which includes a few errata fixes that we made before we sent everything to print (phew). You will get an automatic notification if you have already downloaded the files.
If you have any questions or comments, please do drop them below.

Project Update: Audience participation: What's my next gig?
So, Punk is Dead is with the printers which means I have some time on my hands whilst we wait for the physical book to land with us. I'll keep you updated on that.
But, my thoughts have been drifting to what is next for Punk is Dead. I enjoyed this project immensely, even though it was long slog -- mainly because of every page being a work of art. I'd love to keep this project growing, so I am coming to you to ask what you'd like to see next.
I've attached a poll to this update, so you can have your say. You can also add your own ideas in the comments and I will take them all on board and reply to every single one!
Here are my thoughts:
- Folk Hero - A set of solo rules, with a scenario plus a solo gig generator for Punk is Dead.
- N.P.F.O. - A collection of bad bastards who need an ass-kicking.
- Fractured Isle. - A guide to the UnUnited Kingdom.
Let me know which one you'd like to see, or add your own thoughts in the comments.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend,
Tim
Project Update: The Discord server.
Whilst we wait for the printing to get cracking, please do consider joining our Discord server.
There are channels for all of our RPGs there including one for Punk is Dead. I am usually there, so if you have any questions, feel free to fire them in the chat.
Here's an invite link: https://discord.gg/FQpK85zDVK
Drop in, introduce yourself (or lurk). Take a look through the channels that interest you. You can even look for players to run PiD, or any other game you fancy.
It's a slow-burn Discord server, free from the mayhem of many others and everyone is welcome.
Hope to see you there!
