This is a relatively long update since I missed quite a bit of time due to having covid for 2 weeks! ew!!! I now have all the pins and sticker sheets, I am just waiting on all of the final packaging materials to arrive and then I will begin the long process of shipping ~800 orders! To do this, I need to lock addresses in BackerKit, so you will be getting an email in case you need to change your address. If you do not need to make any address changes, no action is needed.  

I'm going to go slow and steady on fulfillment so I don't make mistakes or burn out from doing this on top of my full time job and shop, but I am planning packaging and shipping to be finished by the end of August. Slightly ahead of schedule!

Ken and I are also working on figuring out some way to combine our shipping for those of you who ordered from both the Backyard Birds and Bird Crimes projects, and offering an incentive for those who opt-in. Particularly for our international backers. We expect the Bird Crimes pins to be ready for shipment in mid-August so, at most, this would be a couple weeks delay on your Backyard Birds items. I will be back soon with more info on this.

I've also recently finished the design for the Thank You cards! Everyone will be getting a 3.5x5in card in their order :) I kept it small so it can fit into the smaller bubble mailers. The two most popular pin designs are the Mourning Dove and the Blue Jay, so I painted one and made the other the thank you sticker. Check out the artwork below!
