Hey all! I wanted to give an update on how things have gone this past week. We launched Tuesday and though we were excited about the launch the team was playing catch-up to work and bills that did not take actually take the holiday time off too. That said I felt good that only needed a day more to move energy towards promotions - but than Wednesday morning I had some stressful news that had to move energy to.
Financial stress can feel like survival and though I was able to de-stress, process, and respond to figure it out I also found myself drained creatively. A project or impact that happens down the line has a hard time competing when something in your next week feels insecure.
I say this just to share, be transparent, and give insight into the journey of creating something new. These past few years have been hard but they have shown me how resilient we can be. With some rest, grounding to the present, and knowing I have friends and supporters I can start each week or day stepping in the direction that I want. I might fall down nine times but I get up ten.
I will be honest too in sharing that this past week it did cross my mind that maybe should postpone and that timing is too much for now. Internal thoughts like "you have never raised this much money before and maybe need more time to be able and ready". You never know what the future holds though and when you are ready. It is our belief that the quickest our game can get into the mainstream the quicker more people will better understand how our system works and how to explore finding their place in helping it!
With that as the goal we push on knowing things can scale and become viral before you know it. This week we will work on reaching out to connections and creating more ways to share and grab attention of friends and allies!
