Project Update: Game Update (bad news, good news?)
Here's a quick summary on the current events:
I'm trying to reduce the amount of emails and summarize bigger events for all the updates in coming months
Bad news: We are still missing a good amount of backers that didn’t pay their pledges leaving us below 40K milestone
Good news: All those who purchased late-pledges have helped us get back to over 40K! So we are sure all the reached stretch goals are completely secured!
The deadline for surveys & payments is: December 15th
Fundraiser pledges will be finalized on the same day as well as you can do the late pledging through here
The deadline does not affect partial payment plans
Customs:
I will need a bit of patience from everyone with customs as there around 110 customs from little pastries to NPCs to be done! Some of them have already been started while others are still collecting full information for.

🏆 30.000 Wishlists milestone!
During the fundraiser event, Tailside has reached a total of 30.000 wishlists, can't believe how many of you have Tailside in your lists of games you have at least a little bit of interest

Early Access version development has already started and here's some overview on the current work through the initial EA features before moving to the unlocked fundraiser stretch goals:
☕️ Day and night cycle
Gameplay is now expanding into Day & Night and weekdays cycle. With that we are adding more brewing involvement through timed bonuses and other mini games, on-work and off-work hours to differentiate the time between work and relaxation such as decoration your cafe, bedroom and terrace zones.
☕️ New NPCs revealed
There will be a total of 10 NPCs to meet in the EA version, plus a few visitors by the fundraiser backer NPCs. All the designs of the 10 NPCs have been finalized and are currently going through animation process.
☕️ New Original Soundtracks in production + Soundtrack DLC in plans:
The Original Soundtrack for Tailside already started production early November and currently we have a total of 7 tracks to be included in the game and Soundtrack DLC. This is expected to continue expand.
☕️ Game decorations already reached over 100 items
For EA, there is around 200 items promised as decor for your cafe zones and we are moving fast to reaching it - there's already over 100 items done for you to discover.
☕️ Keybinding & Controller Support
Added keybinding for keyboard & mouse and gamepad gameplay controls. Gamepad option is currently in testing and will be coming to EA.

- Closing and opening the brewing panel will now continue with the progress that was left instead of restarting completely
- Skip to LV10 (Skip introduction) has been added
- Time and day system has been added
- Cafe working hours has been added
- Settings option to toggle between run/walk instead of holding down the button
- Added soundtracks between different zones and different times of the day
- Started adding some more UI animations to make it feel more immersive and interactive
- In build mode, hovered on items will now have an outline for better visibility
- Settings option to turn off camera motion following
- Latte challenge mode toggle moved to settings
- Latte art is now randomized to 3 selectable options for each latte order
- Some timed and goal activities for brewing has been added (top secret!)
- Build mode fixing to work between different scenes and zones so you can decorate accordingly
- Expanding recipe book with other features
- Adding new journal for tracking game progress, levels, character info and more
