The sample for the beetle bag came in and it’s perfect!
Details:
-interior space is 10 x 8.5 x 3 inch
-comes with 3 straps, to convert between crossbody or backpack
-zipper pocket on the back + an interior zipper pocket (both big enough to fit a phone!
-material is PU leather

here’s a side by side with the plush beetle bag! They are pretty much the same size, except the backpack fits a bit more since it’s 3 in wide. The quality is very nice, and I like how the colors turned out as well.

I also wanted to talk a bit about our next stretch goal! It’s been commented many times on our insta, it seems most people are interested in us doing bigger versions of the bug plush! We wanted to start off with the millipede, who has been the most requested. This would be our biggest plushie yet, at 2.5 ft long. We’ll have to raise the funding goal for this last stretch goal to afford it, since shipping from our manufacturer + storage for how much space these will take up will have to be considered.

For anyone who’s missing the bunny sweater, we'll probably come back around to it some other time 👀 Hopefully you all like the idea of big bug plushies!!

The beetle backpack has officially unlocked and is now available!

These bags come with 3 straps, with the option to wear as a purse or as a backpack! Once the sample gets to us, we’ll post some better pictures and do a few videos showing off how much stuff it can fit.

We’re sooo close to our next stretch goal!

Originally, we had designed a bug cardigan, but we wanted to switch it up a bit and are now going to make it a varsity jacket!!! What do you think?

I personally think it’s a huge upgrade, and we’ll be able to fit even the tinier details into the design with this change! I also know not everyone is into cardigans, so let me know how you feel about this change! 

This is the absolute last day we will be offering early bird deals! They will be ending tonight, at 12 am PST

After talking to a few different manufacturers, for the quality and style we want to do for the varsity jacket, we will have to raise the retail price a bit! So, anyone currently pledged for the jacket tier or add-on is apart of the super special early bird deal of $90! After today, it will go up to its usual cost of $125

I am working on a sizing chart for the varsity jackets, it will be very similar to the cardigan sizing (but a little less length, to fit more like a standard unisex varsity jacket). For material, we are looking to go with 100% cotton so it will feel very soft and more flexible than the classic varsity jacket style! The webbing will be embroidered, and the spider + bugs will be towel patches to give a 3D look. 

It seems most of you wanted the sleeve design to stay the same, so we most likely will stick with the version you see in the drawing mock up! Perhaps we will do an all-spider version someday in the future 🤔
