Hi, all!
This campaign is far from over, but I'm already working on your rewards. One of the first deliverables will be the upgraded edition of The Mason of New Orleans. It's going to include several sharp new maps, and maybe some other cool graphics (which I hope to give you a peek at soon). I'm also overhauling the typography and general look and feel. These changes will be most visible in the print edition, but also affect the ebook.
Want a look? This evening I uploaded a new version of the sample chapters, showing off a bit of how the new edition will look.
The PDF gives you the best picture; it's a pretty good representation of what the print book will look like. The EPUB also looks pretty sharp (I think), but reflowable ebooks don't retain all the typographical specifics of a print or PDF product.
This remains a work in progress, so expect a few tweaks before the book itself is finalized. But if you'd like to see where it's headed, download the sample from the campaign page!
