Project Update: The END - What's Next
Hello everyone! :TLDR at Bottom Cause I like to YAP
Important Information:
I wanted to thank you for supporting this project, as you might can see we dropped below Wrath's funding goal, since we were above her goal for 90% of the project I'm still going to honor her as pin to chose from. Which means we have Lust and Wrath officially to select from. Anyone who had more than 2 pins as a pledge will be getting a credit to their backerkit account to use in the add-on store.
The other sins will also be there as an unlock-able item. Its based off quantity of purchases so i'll have to check my math but for example; pride will be unlockable at 10 units ordered, if 10 people buy it, or 1 person add's 10 prides to their order then pride would be unlocked! If the goal for those items are not met then they will be refunded from everyones order who adds them on.
I'm working on surveys, the add-on store and the pre-order store. If you are a backer do not use the pre-order store, add on items to your pledge in the add on section. The pre-order store is for those who didn't pledge to the campaign during the event. As mentioned before previous pins (witches) will be added to the add on as well as stickers, and other things that I have to offer. (my wares SIR)
It takes 2 weeks for the surveys to be approved and sent out, as well as 2 weeks for payments to process so you'll be hearing from me again in 2 weeks. Once the survey goes out you'll have 2 weeks to fill out your surveys in which case I'll have the quantities needed to order the pins. I'll order the pins, production right now for small projects is only a couple of weeks for you'll likely have your pins well ahead of schedule (yay!).
Future Projects:
With that I have a project scheduled for March right here on Backerkit. I'm calling it a "Collection of Oddities" mostly because it's weird / random design I've had sitting around in my sketches folder for ages and I finished dusted most of them off to make a fun little collection. It's all designs that didn't really fit in any other project but I'm always drawing so my sketches folder is a nightmare to look at. Anyway! Heres the link to that project.
In the summer I'm joining another artist collective event hosted here on backerkit but not ran by backerkit. It's Myths, Monsters, and Magic themed event so I'm using my greek project Medusa's Throne for that event. Included in that collection is Medusa's Stone Solider Throne, a New Cerberus Design (number 4), a Persephone design, Pandora, Pigeon Harpy, and other designs.
For Halloween this year is another artist collective event (pintober) Where i'll be doing Witches Coven 2. The witches will be for sure a Lunar Moth Witch, a Grey Fox Witch, and i'm working on the art for a frog witch. With this project i'm planning on having a custom witch pin design slot. so you can get your own custom character made as a witch with their familiar. (I don't draw men (unless their turned to stone for medusa) so female (adjacent) characters only. We will work together to create your witch holding their familiar as a pin design, you will receive several units (5-15) (have to work out the details) and will be sold as part of the witches, we will also work on designing just a familiar pin (only the animal) which will also be 5-15 units of and will be sold as part of the witches. Which means you'll get 2 custom pins. Pretty neat right? I use to do commission work all the time but this would be my first step into a custom pin commission. (outside of turning logos into pins for clients)
I also have been working on a fairy tale inspired pin line and I've already designed Red Riding Hood and i really like how she's turned out. Is there a fairy tale your hoping to see? Let me know by sending me an email or commenting.
I have a lot plans coming up in this next year so I appreciate all of those who joined us on this project!
