Greetings, Students!

I hope this message finds you celebrating the great mages of history, especially since it's their season after all. If you haven't found the time, don't worry. The great mages of history will make sure you make time for them. 

Now, onto an update!

You might be thinking, wait, that's a little late! And you're right. I had surgery and health issues that left me without energy for a few weeks. That said, my goal is to have this dang book ordered from the printers by the end of the year -- the tax man will come if I don't! So I promise I'm working hard behind the scenes to get caught up while holding everything to my high standards. 

The core book is only 64 pages! This expansion more than doubles the base game! I'm really proud of that! Scroll down for a preview of the PDF. Some pages are blank while I work on more art.

I wanted to make sure that it was easy for you to add content from this book into your game. To that end, the front matter is dedicated to, for lack of a better word, onboarding you. You'll be greeted by a section that gives a snapshot of everything included. After that, you'll turn to a flowchart. My hope is that this flowchart helps you understand where to slot material in at glance. I know a whole second book can be a bit daunting when adding extras!

Your support means a lot to me. One thing I've always wanted to do is deepen our relationship. But when I asked the tarot cards, they said you remained neutral to me. Oh well.

Over the last year or so, I've heard many people wish that Tangled Blessings had an official relationship mechanic for the Rival. I'm pleased to say that I cracked what I think is a fun addition to the base game. This is still slightly in development, but I hope you enjoy the surprise! Once it's finished, there will be printable PDFs available on my website for free. This is also in the new book too of course.

If you've ever played Blades in the Dark, you might be familiar with clock mechanics, and that's basically what this is. Ironsworn, another GM-less tabletop RPG, also makes use of relationship trackers. This small spread borrows from those ideas and offers a tiny twist with the tarot that's intuitive and folds into the game without needing extra components (other than the tracker). You'll use the Major Arcana cards you already draw and make further use of them to grow or deteriorate your relationship with your Rival.

Aren't they something? Just look at all the terrible things that await you!

Now that layout and writing are complete, I'll be finishing up art and setting up the Backerkit survey. The surveys take forever to build, so the sooner I can get started on that, the better for everyone. I'll be back next month with hopefully some fresh art and an announcement that the book is in the proofing stage!

Greetings students!

I finished an early draft of the sticker sheet last night. This sticker sheet includes all the house crests and some fun extras! I'll share it below in the backer only content to help break up the large images. If you're not yet a backer, and you want to see it, I'll be posting it on my social media profiles today too!

Hello students!

It's so good of you all to show up promptly on the first day of classes! I'm so thrilled to see so many new faces enrolled for this semester and grateful that you all look extra eager for your lessons!

We have funded! That means we're adding so many new classes and new houses to campus! I hope you'll be patient during construction and give our professors a bit to update their curriculums!

I don't have much to share in this update other than my gratitude! I'll be sharing new art and updates as the campaign progresses, but for now, I'm going to take a moment to celebrate a successful launch day! I believe we funded in less than an hour!

Greetings students!

I write to you from the world beyond. Our momentous campaign has drawn to a close, and now your future instructors are hard at work behind the scenes, finishing up their new curricula and preparing the halls for your arrival. But what does that mean for you?!

As you may recall, much of our material for the grand expansion is complete, but we need time to review and add the final bits. This may take some time.

You can expect updates at major milestones instead of on a schedule.

As of right now, we're looking at our next milestone coming in the middle of October. We do not wish to clog your inboxes with fluff, so if you don't hear from us, rest easy knowing that we're hard at work. 

Do enjoy your break, students. The coursework ahead will require your undivided attention... or else.

Good day, students!

We are nearing the end of the semester and the final is on Friday! (That's when the campaign ends!)

I've had a few questions since we last touched base, so here are answers!

Why isn't there a physical add-on for the core book?
I thought there was! It's been added now. It will also be available later in BackerKit if you forget to add it now.

Why aren't your other games available as add-ons?
This campaign is focused on funding print runs for Tangled Blessings books. It's easier to understand audience interest and keep things from getting confusing by focusing on my magical academy series. That said, if you're interested in my other games, they will be available as add-ons through BackerKit after the campaign ends. I totally understand wanting to group items to save on shipping!

If I missed backing in the first 48 hours, can I still get a House Crest sticker sheet?
Yes! The House Crest sticker sheet will be available as an add-on after the campaign ends! I'm hoping to post a preview of it later this week! 

Is there a playlist or music you recommend for Tangled Blessings?
There is in fact! I commissioned the amazing Sam Leigh to create a playlist for Tangled Blessings and it's available on Spotify and YouTube! Echoes of Lost Electives will include URLs and QR codes printed inside so the playlist can be found, but if you want to save it now, there you go!
