Hi Carrie, I'm a Canadian backer. My plan for finishing the pledge was to have my pin sent to a US address alongside a couple of other parcels I would have been getting, in order to save on fairly horrific Canadian shipping costs. Well, I'm not doing the other purchases. I've been out of work for a while now. All discretionary spending is stopping for me for a little while. And of course, there are the political shenanigans, which make me trust shipping from the USA a bit less. Please consider my pledge cancelled. Sadly. Your designs are lovely and I would like to support you in the future. If you care to refund any portion of my pledge that would be wonderful. If not, please put it toward something wonderful. Project Update: Shipping Update!
Two important updates before I take a short break until the new year:
All of the packages to US backers have been shipped! Please expect some delays in shipping times due to the holidays, but if haven't received your package by early January, do let me know by emailing me at [email protected]. And if you discover any missing or damaged items, please email me so I can make it right!
(I'm working on figuring out how to export the tracking numbers from Pirateship to Backerkit, but they may all be delivered by then so in the meantime if you need your tracking number you can also email me for that.)
Canadian backers - I am hearing that UPS & FedEx charge very high brokerage fees on the recipients end, up to 60% of the package value. I also understand that the postal strike is effectively over, but they are dealing with a TON of backlog. With that in mind, I am going to hold off on shipping the orders to Canada until after the holidays. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Project Update: Important: Charging for Shipping!
The pins have arrived safely to me and I've already gotten started on grading, sorting, and bundling everything for shipping! I'm still hoping to start getting these out the door and on their way to you before the end of year and with that in mind, shipping charges are going to start processing by the end of the week.
I'm going to be using Pirateship for better rates, so here's what to expect:
For US Backers: If you ordered only a few pins your shipping will be $5, if you ordered several pins your shipping will be $6-8, and if you purchased a set with a display board your shipping will be $10.
For Canadian Backers: I'm going to be using UPS and your shipping will be $20-25 depending on overall weight and package size.

Project Update: Locking your address for fulfillment! Pins are in transit to me!
I’m super pleased to announce that the finished pins are now on their way to me!
They’ve been graded and individually packaged by our lovely manufacturer, which means I can quality assure and get them packed up and sent out to you that much faster! Progress!
(And as always, if anything slips through QA and you receive a defective item, please reach out to me at [email protected] for a prompt replacement.)
I’m going to be locking addresses and you’ll receive a final notice from Backerkit with an opportunity to make any changes to your address.
I will keep you updated with progress, and for now my ambitious goal is to have everything shipped by the end of the year!

Project Update: Pin samples and washi tape have arrived!
The samples of the pins arrived and I'm so, so pleased with how they turned out! I need to make adjustments to some of the colors (particularly those yellows in the big Intertidal Triptych pins!) but the details and quality are perfect! It's also more vibrant gold plating than on my previous pins, and I really love how it looks with these bright colors.
I also got the washi tape in and they look even better than I was hoping for. I’m always nervous about trying out a new product line, so I'm delighted that they turned out so nice and I'm looking forward to making more washi tapes.
And in case you missed it, my current campaign, Coping Cats is fully funded and a bunch of stretch goals have been unlocked. As always there are extra rewards for returning backers!
