I wanted to send a quick update to let you know I've begun working on the follow-up to Sherlock Holmes: Crimes for Christmas. The new book will follow the same format with the first part of a story on day one followed by the story's conclusion on day two. You get to try and solve the mystery before the next day. Feedback has been glowing for Crimes for Christmas, and I've gotten requests for more books in the same format.
I'll have more updates as the book continues to be written. If all goes well, the follow-up will be ready for the 2025 holiday season!
I also wanted to let you know about my latest Kickstarter campaign. This one isn't a Sherlock Holmes one, but it is a sequel to the Victorian novel, Jane Eyre!
The exciting sequel series to Jane Eyre continues!!!
ADÈLE's adventures continue in this exciting and varied novel! An escaped convict! A Contessa who is not what she seems! What are the mysteries of the Whitaker Theatre company? And – could a baby be on the way? Where is the doctor??
Throughout this novel, Adèle and her beloved Jack Whitaker are challenged, both in bravery and resourcefulness, as an old enemy resurfaces, unearthing long-buried secrets. Author Julia Harbour continues to explore the fascinating, frightening world of Adèle as she faces a new chapter in her extraordinary life.

All of the rewards for Sherlock Holmes: Crimes for Christmas have been ordered and shipped. Almost all should have arrived by now. If you haven't received your rewards by December 7th, please contact me, and I'll track them down.
Also, please consider writing a positive review on Amazon or Goodreads. The more positive reviews a book receives, the better it tends to sell. That will help us build momentum for a new collection next year, Sherlock Holmes: More Crimes for Christmas!

Every volume in this anthology series details a year in the life of Sherlock Holmes. Each month gets its own story!
With the arrival of 1887, Sherlock Holmes's reputation had begun to grow. Now, in the year of the classic tales "The Reigate Squires" and "The Five Orange Pips", Holmes is becoming ever more sure of himself –– a trend that will continue as we make our way through his literary chronology.
1888 was a busy year for Holmes and Watson. If Dr. Watson is to be believed, The Sign of Four, “A Scandal in Bohemia,” and “The Adventure of the Noble Bachelor” all took place in this year (I would also argue that The Valley of Fear is set in the same year - ed.). As if all that weren’t enough, 1888 is remembered (albeit infamously) as the year that Jack the Ripper unleashed an autumn of terror on the citizens of London. While there are no Holmes vs. the Ripper stories in this volume, the authors of the later stories have all alluded to the atmosphere of terror permeating Holmes’s London at that time.

Two-time Nebula Award winner EDWARD BRYANT is one of the most celebrated writers and critics in science-fiction and horror. These first two volumes of the complete retrospective of his works include a number of his influential pieces, autobiographical essays, contributions from fellow authors including Connie Willis, Steve Rasnic Tem, Cynthia Felice and others–––as well as an entire section dedicated to his lifelong friendship with HARLAN ELLISON in volume one, and a rare BATMAN novelette in volume two*, co-written with DAN SIMMONS!
This is just quick update to let you know that the book is ready. The eBook will be sent to backers tomorrow. Please look for it in your inbox. The eBook will come to you in epub, mobi, and pdf formats. I'm hoping to ship out the paperback and hardcover books by the end of the month so you'll get your copy long before December 1st. Backers, look for another update about the eBook tomorrow.
Also, if you backed the project and still have not completed your reward survey, please get it done as soon as possible. I don't want you to miss out on this wonderful collection of new Sherlock Holmes stories.
I also wanted to let you know about my two new Kickstarter projects which are launching on Monday. Please follow along at the links below and be the first to back the campaigns:
