Project Update: Proof Updates
Hey all,
Just a quick update.
I've been working closely with the printer (as we're piggybacking on another print job).
We got proofs of the interiors and covers, and they look amazing.
As you can see the print cover had a bit of an extended side, which was a bit odd (they didn't give me a true cover template, and it seems like i over-did the bleed margin which shows here.
Ive already submitted changes and revisions to the cover template, and waiting to see how those turn out (should get that next week).
Interior file had one tiny fix where Gelatinous Cube had "m" highlighted on the side-nav.
Timing wise,
we're expecting books to be all done printing and on freight before Chinese New Year (where plants shut down for a month). And from there books should probably arrive at warehouses in early March-ish to ship out.
Also because we're piggybacking, we are shipping books to our three warehouses in the US, UK, and AUS.
So shipping will be faster if you're in those regions, rather than our assumed timing of shipping everything from the US.
Hope everyone had a happy new year and merry Christmas!
Andreas

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Pre-Christmas Update!
Hey all,
just a quick update,
I thought i had taken care of the PDFs earlier. I apologies for that, they have all been sent!
Also, a quick update on production.
For some reason I had thought i was gonna be able do a local production of the Hardcover book with spot UV, but it appears I was totally wrong (even doing hardcover at lower volume in the US would be generally more expensive, but was something we were expecting to do).
Nevertheless, I had a different project in production with an offset/overseas printer, and we were able to get this book in to piggy back on the production time and shipping.
So, now the newer books, will have softcover with spot UV, and the Hardcover books will have a combination of SpotUV and Foil Stamp which I'm pretty excited to see.
THe fun part is that I should be getting our samples anytime next week (but since its Christmas I probably wont expect to see it until the 30th. But when I do, Ill be sure to share it with you all to show off how everything is coming together.
I hope everyone is doing well for this holiday season, and also, since calendars were part of peoples orders, I am going to have the warehouse ship those as soon as possible so you can get them before the hardcovers arrive (which might take a little bit since they're arriving by freight) (also international books will be going to our international hubs, which will tune down shipping times as well).
More to come,
Andreas

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Surveyes
Hey all,
hope everyone is doing well with the holidays soon approaching,
Finally, all the payments have been processed with Backerkit, and the time has come to do surveys, finalize counts, get your shipping address, and get you your PDFs (I also want to see if I can produce an epub version).
In the survey, I do have a question about those who want to get their softcover book before Christmas (it came up with another backer). We have a smallish stack of early production versions (that are of the notyugh (otyugh), instead of the new Nightmare). If you want select yes, and we'll ship that copy out asap.
But for the hardcover and normal production we still estimate fulfillment to start Jan.
Thank you everyone for the support, and if you have any questions, (or requests) please don't hesitate to reach out!

Project Update: Last 24 Hours!!
Hey all!!
As we run into the final stretch,
I am super excited that we'll be able to produce an awesome set of Dustys book.
I did see a question about shipping, as it pertains to the holidays.
We have a softcover version (pre-nightmare) that we can ship out right away if you want it for the holidays.
For the hardcover and nightmare revision, we'd be looking at fulfilling likely late december/early Jan (assuming holiday shipping doesn't destroy us).
Thank you all for the support and I can't wait to see you on the other side!

Project Update: Hitting the End Stretch
Hey All!!
We've got 8 days to go, and we're trucking along!
I want to thank you all so much for joining us on this little journey.
We had a books that we printed as a early set to see if there was any changes that we needed to make to the print files. But you can see the flipthrough here!
