Project Update: Campaign finished! Surveys soon + Timeline!
First off, Thank you so much for the successful campaign!
I am beyond thrilled that so many people got behind this project and made it a success! Making Doily is literally a lifelong dream come true for me!
What happens next!
Once funds have all gone through, surveys will be sent to all of you. This will be at the beginning of March!
What are surveys? Do I have to fill it out?
Surveys are also where I find out answers to questions like "You chose to get a 1 inch pin, which did you want?" so in some cases I am not even certain what to send you until they are filled out.
So to reiterate: If you don't complete your survey I will be unable to send you your reward! I will literally have no idea where to send it to! Every time I do a crowdfunding campaign, there's always at least one person who never completes the survey and never gets the rewards that they paid for! I don't want this to happen! I would like you to get the nice things you deserve! Please fill out your surveys! I do reach out if you do not fill it out, and reminders are sent regularly if you happen to miss it.
You'll have a couple of weeks to fill out your survey, you can add things if you'd like at this stage as well. You can fill it out after that point, but I have to decide on how many of each item to order once production starts. I try to order plenty, but there's a possibility I won't have enough of something you wanted if you fill out your survey after that point.
You must completely fill out your survey and submit it in order for it to count!
Timeline moving forward
Mid-March - I will coordinate production with my manufacturers
April - Production will begin
July - I will quality check the completed products
Aug-Sept - Rewards will be sent to backers
Some of these steps may take less time that I am estimating, but I want to make sure to allow for any delays! Especially in the manufacturing step. It's possible things will go smoother and quicker, but this timeline is a good baseline of what to expect.
I will send out another update when surveys are done! For anyone following the project who missed out on pledging, there will be a pre-order store that you can order from! It won't have the same freebies available that the campaign had, but you will be able to order anything that was in the campaign!
Thank you!
Amber
There are some ceramic ducks for Easter in the cheap section of target at the front right now that would be perfect stand ins for Doilys friends. I also got a cute tray to display him and them on! I might be the only weirdo who wants that set up but if you also do I recommend going to get them!
Project Update: Fully funded! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 (Plus freebie wallpaper!)
We did it! In just a little over two days we were able to get past our funding goal, and are currently at 100 backers!
Making a teddy bear with movable limbs is costly, so I went into this knowing that it would have to be a high funding goal, and making that goal wasn't a guarantee. But I thought to myself "Worst case scenario: It's not funded but I still get to have a Doily plush" which was good enough for me!
So I'm so happy enough people liked Doily that we'll be able to put them into production! Thank you to all of you supporting this project so far!
As some of you know, I've been down with a bad cold since the day before the project launched. So everyone who has shared this on social media: Let me know that you have my undying appreciation for all your help!
I do have a stretch goal planned! Two more pins! But I'll wait until I'm over my cold to finish the designs up and share them with you! The project still has 19 more days to run, so you'll hear from me before then.
In the meantime, I've a wallpaper attached for everyone who has backed!
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

I'm looking to try and find some ceramic geese to get to greet Doily when they get home. I've found a few contenders. Should their ribbons be actual ribbons on molded onto the ceramic? Also should they be in any particular pose?
