Project Update: Donations, reviews, and ratings!

Some great news to share:
During the campaign, we pledged to donate $1 per backer to nonprofits working in climate and environmental justice causes. We sent those donations late last year, and I wanted to share where it went!

During the campaign, we pledged to donate $1 per backer to nonprofits working in climate and environmental justice causes. We sent those donations late last year, and I wanted to share where it went!
- $5,000 to WE ACT: This organization works on behalf of communities of color and low income residents in NYC to keep them prioritized in environmental planning, policy, and decision making.
- $5,000 to BSSK: The Indian nonprofit BSSK (Baikunthapur Sishu Seva Kendra) focuses on rural people of in the Sundarbans, where its citizens are regularly affected by devastating storms, rainfall, floods, and drinking water contamination.
BSSK used the funds to support awareness and training of close to 300 participants on climate change impacts, hygiene, and sanitation. Here's a pic of one of the sessions:
