Why an Expanded Rule Book?
I remember being "gifted" a first edition Player's Handbook from my older brother. It was more than just a book; it was a portal to new worlds filled with boundless adventure and endless possibilities. I remember when Unearthed Arcana came out, too—how it added so many new classes and taught me more about halberds than anyone in my school would ever know. Back then, I couldn’t have known that RPGs were organic, living, breathing creations—constantly evolving and growing.
When we first created 321RPG, our goal was to create something flexible—something that could adapt to any playstyle and fit the needs of every table. And it did. It grew faster than we could have imagined, driven by the creativity of our community and the passion for play.
That’s why it’s time for a refresh.
This expanded rule book is the culmination of four years of growth, a lifetime of gaming, and the incredible enthusiasm of our players. If there’s one rule for DMing that always holds true, it's that you can never anticipate what the players will do. And that’s precisely what makes it all so exciting.
So here’s to five years of adventure—here’s to the past, the present, and the many stories still to come!

Why a Monster Book?
The answer is simple: it’s about the shared experience. For many of us, that first monster book was more than just pages—it was a doorway. A portal to a world of imagination where every creature jumped off the page, igniting the wonder of our childhoods. It’s that feeling of cracking open a Monster Manual for the first time, marveling at the art, and letting your imagination run wild. That nostalgia engine burns brightly in every TTRPG fan, including myself. I still remember the awe of flipping through my older brother's Monster Manual—it was awesome.
But there’s a second reason: the artists. Running a TTRPG publishing company has allowed us to collaborate with many talented illustrators and artists. They don’t just draw—they breathe life into these monsters, taking our ideas and turning them into something tangible, something memorable. Every stroke of their pens raises the stakes, adding depth to the creatures that once only existed in our minds.
This book combines all the monsters and creatures we’ve created over the years into one beautiful volume. It’s more than just a collection—this will be a monster book with a narrative, a beginning, middle, and end that showcases both the creatures and the incredible talents behind them. We’re pulling from the entire 321RPG universe, from the action-adventure world of Rocket to Russia to the post-apocalyptic wastelands of Children of UMA, to the horror pages of The Devil in New Jersey and every beast in between.
This book aims to give Game Runners everything they need to craft their stories while celebrating the artists who helped bring our world to life. We hope you’ll join us in making this monster book a reality!

The PDF editions will be checked on various screen readers to ensure accessibility. It will also be fully inked and printer-friendly. Both feature covers by Zack Giallongo and will include all unlocked stretch goals.

Our previous adventures are available as optional add-ons when you check out. We ship them directly from 321RPG HQ, so you only have to pay shipping once.
Shipping will be calculated and collected after the campaign through the Pledge Manager. After the project closes, we will open the pledge manager and collect all pledges. You will provide your physical address there and pay for shipping and sales taxes if applicable. We estimate fulfillment to begin in the summer of 2025.
