We're funded, and we have still half the campaign to go! First of all, I want to thank all of you backers for making this possible. This is a different kind of tabletop RPG in scope, pace, approach, and the kind of stories you can tell, but you believed in it enough to make it a reality. So, thank you so much!!

We also want to personally thank StickyHunter, the project's artist. My "make it like what you'd find on ancient pottery" was enough for them to create imagination-fueling art! Their enthusiasm for this style art is evident in every illustration! Now that we're surpassing our funding goal, we're thrilled at the prospect of commissioning more pieces from them!

While it's entirely possible to play this game without character sheets, playtesting has demonstrated that they'd help keep everything organized and at players' fingertips. So we're pleased to announce our newest achievement! At $6,000 USD, we'll commission a graphic designer to create original godly character sheets and worlds sheets. Soon everything will be within reach!

Beta playtesting is underway, and their feedback is already super helpful! It's all play-by-post for now, but real-time games will start in the days ahead. If you're interested in reading the entire ruleset now and getting involved in the game, fill out this form to become a playtester!

Huge thank you to everyone for getting us to 90 percent in the first 10 days of the campaign! I expect to tick over to 100 percent at any time now, which would mean Playing God will be a published book we can all hold in our hands and/or play with friends (or solo!).

It's been almost exactly 48 hours and we're almost exactly half funded! Huge thank you to all of you who've pledged so far! The first two days are so crucial to health of a crowdfunding campaign, and it looks like we're well positioned to cross the finish line well before the end of the month.
