A great deal of care was put into designing by Grimm Space logo (created by Dave Lentz). We wanted to combine the epic natures of both fairy tales and space fantasy in one image. The result is a union of the two that exemplifies everything the series embodies...and beyond!
P1-Nocchio first appeared in "Jack & the NAV Unit" serving as a stand-in for the cow Jack trades for his magic beans in the original fairy tale. P1-Nocchio was eventually acquired by a tinkerer named Petto and starred in his very own self-titled issue. He's a fun and lovable robot, but feels inadequate for Pette, who P1-Nocchio believes deserves a real son instead of a fake one. This leads him in an incredible journey of danger and action. P1-Nocchio will return to the world of Grimm Space later this year!
Zeke is our universe's version of the Big Bad Wolf. A former black ops soldier, he currently serves as security officer aboard the Beanstalk, a courier ship operating within the Galactic Confederacy. Although already featured in two stories, Zeke has yet to star in his own Grimm Space tale. That changes in "Three Little Piglians," which has Zeke return to the planet Piglia to discover who destroyed the Mayor's home, a brick building Zeke failed to knock down years earlier.

Re-imagining. Adapting. Re-interpreting. These are some of my favorite things to do as a writer. They say there are only 7 different types of stories and everything is just a variation of them. Well, if that's the case, then there's something to be said about embracing the classic tales that have withstood the test of time.
I'm far from the only person to take this approach to fairy tales. We've seen tons of different fairy tale universes in comics, movies, TV, even video games. They've been in dark city streets and cartoon fantasy worlds. Grimm Space seeks to give these timeless characters the sci-fi treatment, while paying homage to the staples in the genre that came before it.
These stories have tons of references to seminal sci-fi classics like Alien and Star Wars while also fleshing out a world of fairy tale-inspired characters such as Pinocchio, the Big Bad Wolf, and Rumpelstiltskin. This year, I'm hoping to jumpstart an entire universe (pun intended) of re-imagined stories that pay homage to these two powerful genres. Here's some of what we've released thus far and also what we have in store for the future.

As for me, my name if Frank Martin. I'm an author and comic creator based out of New York, and I love challenging myself with new and different types of stories. I've written horror, fantasy, rom-com, mystery and more across novels, short stories, film, comics...pretty much anything that can be used to tell a story. I'm used to bouncing around between different genres, mediums, and titles, but Grimm Space is going to be my home this year. I hope to turn it into my longest running series yet, expanding it a full-fledged universe filled with tons of characters and stories. So I hope you'll join in!

Grimm Space is a series I have a lot of fun with that I hope to expand into a full-fledged universe filled with all sorts of fairy tale and public domain characters. I've never offered pins from any of my stories before, so I'm excited to get them out there and in the hands of sci-fi fans. Thank you for being a part of Grimm Space, and I hope you'll join the fun!
