Born to Run is new campaign for Dungeons and Dragons where players take part in the murderous midnight games known as The Soulympics.

First, players will familiarise themselves with the jungleland city of New Orc. Here they will learn about the six gangs of New Orc, choosing one to represent in the games. (Players will even have the chance to play competitively against each other if we hit our stretch goals). They will buy their gear from backstreet vendors and learn about the pantheon of their Lady of the Night and her six suitors, the household gods that each gang dedicate themselves to.

Next, players will compete in the gruesome and gruelling Games. There are six challenges, which can easily take a session each to play. There's an initial role-play phase where you meet with your mentor and gather equipment and information for the challenge ahead. Then it's on your marks, get set, and roll for initiative. Can you make the treacherous climb up the Thunder Road in a tropical storm? Will you be hiding on the backstreets or get wasted in the heat? Yes, if you haven't worked it out by now, the adventure takes its inspiration from the Boss's breakthrough album, Born to Run, as well as other cultural touchstones like The Hunger Games and the twi-wizard tournament in Harry Potter.
