"The Night Bird" is a teenage superhero drama that follows Simmons, a 17-year old girl, who receives a special headband that allows her to communicate with the soul of Night Bird, a fallen warrior from the 17th century, who can take over the body of a person that wears her headband.
With the crime rates in Evercity skyrocketing, Simmons decides it is time to unleash her inner self and become the Night Bird. Equipped with double katanas and desire for vengeance, Night Bird seeks for anyone who dares to cause havoc. It's better for criminals to stay inside tonight - because the Bird is gone hunting.
The show foucuses on Simmons' relationship with her best friend, Jimmy, while also exploring her, dare to say, darker side as Night Bird and her relationship with criminals, with, of course, action!
I'm currently working on the pilot, and to do so, I'm gonna need your help! You see, I'm basically doing everything on my own, the animation, story, editing, sound design, but the only thing I need is a bunch of voice actors, who will help bring my characters to life! And to do so, I'm gonna need somewhere around $3000. That's it! Of course, there's gonna be rewards for backers, including the customized signed poster and an artbook that shows how much Night Bird had evolved over the years since her inception in 2020.
