Take to the seas in BOW, the latest RPG from Hatchlings Games!

BOW is a solo or duet journaling RPG using a deck of playing cards. The game is inspired by the solarpunk genre and the immersive video game ABZU, developed by Giant Squid.

Each suit in the card deck represents a journaling theme, but also a rival freediver attempting to sink your boat and win the Shoaling Competition! This combination of creative writing and intuitive game mechanics will make for an exciting and unique play experience.

We are working with two wonderful artists to bring the startling setting of BOW to life and inspire your journal entries. WillowsQuest is a longtime collaborator, working on projects such as Inspirisles, Cryptid Creeks and Dragon Dowser - our first journaling RPG. Alex Connolly is a recent addition to the Hatchlings team, but his incredible work on Argo-0 prompted us to commission him for the custom card deck we are producing for the game.

This project is a collaboration with TTRPGkids as part of BackerKit's Cross Collab program!
