On April 2nd, 2024 we'll return to the world of the Hereafter into the Land of the Living and Land of the Dead! Each book is standalone in combination with the free Cloud Empress Rulebook, so this campaign is also the perfect place to start your science fantasy adventures.

Land of the Living and Land of the Dead covers

The Land of the Living, will be a 50-page, stand-alone setting hexcrawl expansion where players will explore a shifting landscape pushed and pulled by huge spore towers and endless rifts in time and space. For this book, I've also brought on co-author Em Matson to help expand and explore the lives of indigenous communities in the world of Cloud Empress. We're also creating exciting new movement-based spores inspired by the Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, in addition to new NPCs, relics, and spells.

The Spore covered biome, The Garden

The Slip torn biome, "Big Blue"

The Land of the Dead, will be a 50-page, stand-alone setting hexcrawl expansion where players will explore a landscape of ash navigating the destruction from the impact of a fallen cloud city. Both expansion books are set a few months after the events of the Cloud Empress: Land of Cicadas, and we'll uncover Prince Bug's broken tower, finally revealing the man behind the myth.

The Bravo City calamity, some 50 years prior.

Ashen Imago facsimiles wander the dead landscape with unknown purpose.

All backers will receive a free 8 page crowdfunding exclusive adventure called Funeral Fit for an Anti-Saint.
