Celestial Beasts is a campaign to produce awesome enamel pins inspired by Biblically Accurate angel designs, celtic knots, stained glass windows, and cool animals! If you love strangely divine mutated creatures then this campaign is for you!

I've recently funded some new Bestiary inspired creature pins and I'm excited to raise funds for more fantastical designs with this Celestial Beasts campaign! This time I'm leaning more into the weird and wonderful by creating my own mystical creatures. I hope you like them!

I'm running this campaign as part of Backerkit'sPINTOPIA — a celebration of creativity and collaboration from over 175 creators collectively launching their pin and/or plushie project on BackerKit from January 23rd - February 13.

For our freebies we decided to collaboratively design two 1 inch enamel pins that combine into a single image when displayed together and reflect our individual themes! Here are the two designs together:
The left side was designed by me and the right side was designed by PhaseMoth!
To get these two mini pins completely free, you just need to back both campaigns for a physical reward! ;)
(The digital tip tier does NOT qualify for the physical rewards, including the mini pins and campaign stickers. Please back for pins in order to receive these.)
The gold pins will be hard-enamel, with recessed metal on the ring sections of the Heron and Bat. Hard-enamel means that the coloured enamel is on a level with the surface of the metal. The recessed sections will have the metal showing and the design in relief.
The rainbow-plated stretch goals will be soft-enamel (the enamel will dip below the level of the metal outlines), as rainbow-plating can't be produced with hard-enamel
All pins will have at least 2 posts (pin backs to secure the pin), with rubber fixings
They will all come on backing cards (designs not yet completed but I'll share them via updates when they are)

Add-ons are things you can add to your pledge rewards that are not the main goal items!
These prints will be 21x21cm (8 inch / A4 cut down to square), and are £10 each.
These stickers will all be 2.5" tall, and all have a holographic foil effect in the form of eyes on the wings, or scales:

Bestiary Creature Pins!
Four enamel pin designs from my most recent Kickstarter: these are currently in production and available as add-on options for this campagin! They are £12 each.
Keep an eye on campaign updates to see how they turn out IRL! (I expect them to get to me in February).
Bestiary Creature Sticker Sheets!
Two A5 sticker sheets featuring creatures inspired by Bestiaries / Illuminated Manuscripts! They are £5 each.
You can add these items to your pledge rewards once you select a Pledge Level to back, or via the end-of-campaign Survey.
Backerkit will not charge you for your rewards until the campaign is completed.
You can adjust your pledge amount at any time before the end of the campaign.
When the campaign ends you will be sent a survey to choose the funded designs you would like for your rewards.
There will be updates throughout the campaign on the funding progress, and after the campaign through production and packing and posting.
Once the campaign is over, any remaining pins after fulfillment will be available via my Etsy shop, but without the multi-buy discounts available via pledging to the campaign.
Pledge Level Discounts
There is a discount on pin pledges for 3 or more pins! The discount is £1 per pin for 3-pin pledges, and £2 per pin for 4-pin pledges! (The discount does not apply retroactively so if you purchase your third pin as an add-on the discount will not be applied. If you'd like to order 3 or more Celestial pins, please use the 3 or 4 pin pledge levels to get the discount.)
You can also get the £2-per-pin discount if you grab one of the Earlybird pledges! There are 30 Earlybird pledges available, and they'll only be available for the first 48 hours of the campaign!
International orders (outside of the UK) will be sent Tracked.
Shipping will be charged after the campagin ends, as part of the survey process. Please note that unlike Kickstarter, these costs are NOT INCLUDED Iin the pledge total before the campagin ends.
For international backers:
Backers are responsible for any customs or taxes that may be charged once the package enters your country.
No refunds or replacements will be provided if your package is Returned To Sender of lost due to unpaid fees.
Unfortunately, due to the new USPR laws and individual-country packaging charges I am unable to ship to the EU. I'm sorry to disappoint anyone, but sadly the costs are currently greatly prohibitive for a small-scale sole trader like me.
If I am unable to ship to you due to USPR or other issues I will refund your pledge, minus any fees and taxes charged by Backerkit.
Shipping estimates:
Estimates are estimates, based on current Royal Mail prices and the weight of 1 to 6 pins. Actual shipping will be charged during surveys at the end of the campaign but I have done my best to estimate the post and packaging costs and Backerkit fees.
