MURENGA is a sci-fi thriller Bonzo (African comic) from Kugali, created by members of the team behind Disney's IWAJU. With the political intrigue of V for Vendetta and influences taken from books like N.K. Jemisin's The Fifth Season, and Jeff VanderMeer's Annihilation, this comic takes inspiration from a wide range of sci-fi and fantasy sources but roots itself firmly in Kugali's African Pantheon of stories.
On a newly colonised, futuristic planet, a group of friends flee a corporate government who will stop at nothing to silence them.
