Get Ready for Unknown Worlds TTRPG

Unknown Worlds is a new Narrative Table Top Roleplaying game by Anvil 8 Games in which players take on the role of Keepers who follow magical paths to learn secrets and lore about the Unknown World that exists alongside the normal, Known World. 

Built from the ground up to allow for creativity, the rules encourage creative and narrative play. All of the rules needed to play are included in the setting-agnostic core book. Field Journals provide settings (in different genres, times, places) in which to set campaigns. 

At launch, we will be releasing three Field Journals:

Small Town Magic: Set in the mid-80s in small town America, magic lurks in the corners of the world and right in town. Players will build a 1980s small town together with the Game Guide from which to start their campaign which can include exploration of mystical places, interaction with amazing magical creatures, and the discovery of lost Secrets of Magic. Vibes of excitement, adventure, chaos, and mystery abound!

Victorian Horror: Set in 1860s London, an insidious threat has begun to fester and spread. Keepers whisper of something coming, something darker than the most isolated alleyway, murkier than the Thames. The players will build a ward in London together with the Game Guide which will serve as the campaign's primary setting. Mystery, horror, desperation, and fear creep into every game session!

Cozy Cottage Core (working title): Set in a time long ago, Players will build a mystical village populated by intelligent animals, and the Wee'uns (powerful intelligent animal Keepers). The stakes of this setting are very different from the other settings in Unknown Worlds: the biggest threats are where that blueberry pie went, and who will be chosen to embroider the Harvest Banner this year! Cozy, cute, social fun set in a low stress, adorable village.
