In Short Circuit, the pause() function is a 1.5" gold-plated pin with recessed metal details and hybrid enamel. Pledges made in the first 48 hours that include a pin also receive this pin for FREE!
Pause will be an available design choice as an add-on in the survey after the campaign, so it can also be purchased later if you miss this window. (PLEASE NOTE: If you pledge a support or sticker only tier in the first 48 hours and still want the Pause pin, it will be treated as an add-on in the shipping charge phase.)
Technology is far from the antithesis of the natural world. We look to nature for design, fashioning aircraft in accordance with the dynamics of birds and solar panels after the scales on a butterfly’s wings. The aesthetic of this collection carries on in this tradition, illustrating animals and elements in the style of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB).
In accordance with user demand, several lines of elemental units may become available for acquisition. The series is called Short Circuit as these little robots don't quite function as intended, but they put their whole electronic hearts into their tasks regardless!

Short Circuit Pins are Hybrid Enamel: the main “backing board” colors of each set are hard enamel, while the transparent fills overlaying the recessed metal details are soft enamel for added visual depth.
Each pin also features two posts for added security, rubber clasps, and an embossed backside.
The pins in each Unit Line have roughly the same relative surface area despite variance in the longest side, and are sized to work well as a set.

Shipping will be charged after the campaign ends as part of the Backerkit survey. Please note that the pledge amount during the campaign does not include shipping cost.
The following are estimates on the higher side to be safe. I am currently investigating a more cost efficient carrier and actual shipping costs will be priced based on the final package weight of your order.

Doing so has involved an amount of uncertainty and carefully scraping by, so if this campaign does well it could be a life changing direction for her business and future security!

Backerkit is a crowdfunding platform that empowers you to help make ideas into reality! It functions as a sort of pre-order, allowing creators to gather the funds needed to produce items that are in turn sent along to backers of their campaigns.
You won't be charged until the campaign ends. Take advantage of that to claim your early bot rewards! If you need to lower or cancel your pledge later, you can do so any time before pledges are processed to avoid being charged.
Pin and sticker designs will be unlocked as stretch goals are hit, meaning they have been fully funded and will be put into production at the conclusion of the campaign! Pledge with whatever designs you’d like in mind to increase its odds of being unlocked, and then check back before the campaign ends to adjust if a design you wanted was not reached.
Surveys will be sent out after the campaign’s conclusion for you to pick which designs you would like. Once finalized you can continue to edit your order via Backerkit until orders are locked.
Updates on production and fulfillment will be sent to your Backerkit email and posted in the Community tab on the campaign page.
