Join us for some out of this world cats.

A collaboration between George of Cosmic Macchiato and Kristen of Cosmic Kristen Designs, celebrating the 2024 total solar eclipse passing over a large portion of North America April 8th!

Our kitties are on a hunt for totality, what will they find there? Kinship? Magic? Other life forms? Who knows!

Join us to find out.

This is a joint adventure, follow George here!

The initial goal features, not only the most unique pin I've ever made, but also an out of this world variant. Each pin is 2" in the largest dimension and shiny nickle plated. The background features a pearlized blue enamel that matches the galaxy background of Astroanimals and My Sky to fit seamlessly into any Cosmic Kristen collection.

Similar to the My Sky series, eclipse kitty features a star map. Each star is carefully placed to represent their relative location to the eclipse at 1 pm on April 8, 2024 in the northern hemisphere. Can you spot any?

Now the fun part:
IF George and I both meet our goal we unlock two freebies! This will be added to ALL physical pledge tiers. One freebie will be produced by me, and one will be produced by George.

The FREEBIE

Don't have enough space cats in your life? Back both George and my projects to receive a Catastic planet pin from each of us to go with your set.  This unlocks when both George and I fully fund to our initial goal.

The Magnet Pins!

Our first special topper pin is a pair of solar eclipse glasses, available as a magnet that can stick to the top of any of your cats faces OR a stand alone enamel pin. You'll select during your survey process after the campaign. The glasses are sized to fit perfectly on any of our cats faces.

Why eclipse glasses? Well for one, the cardboard kind you're going to be using during the eclipse aren't a great keepsake as they'll fade and bend over time. In addition, the solar filter may become damaged and be unsafe for use if not stored safely. During any portion of the eclipse when the sun is not in 100% totality you should make sure to keep your solar filters on or do not look directly at the sun as even a short peek can permanently damage your retinas.
