...is a solo/duet role-playing game about exploration and discovery where you will come to see familiar objects through unfamiliar eyes. You'll take on the role of a curious creature on an abandoned world, uncovering the things left behind and upcycling them to overcome challenges.

The 92 page hardcover rulebook contains everything needed to play the game in five different settings. The game is written by Tim Roberts and is based on art of Simon J Curd.



Play one of five creatures as you explore an abandoned earth. You will use a deck of playing cards to map out a setting on a playgrid. As you travel, you will come across new locations and discarded items that you can collect and use to solve conflicts and issues you encounter. Here are the creatures you can play:


Moving from one location to another costs you one Zeal point -- these track your enthusiasm to explore. You begin with eight Zeal points. There are three ways to restore Zeal:

1. When you find something.
2. When you resolve a minor or major complication.
3. When you take an IRL break from the game!

Wires in The Woods is a perfect diversion for a cozy evening on your own or with a friend or partner. All you need to begin your adventures is a deck of cards, a pen and paper and your own imagination.
