Table-top roleplaying in the post-apocalyptic fantasy world of FROZEN DREAMS and MORGAN BAROD! The Fermi Resolution Worldbook is a self-contained game world (using the GUMSHOE rules) that explores a fantasy post-apocalyptic North America. Discover the mysteries from nine hundred years of future fantasy history. Investigate the ruins of a North America gone mad with magic! Explore the enigmatic ruins of the Old Americans! Plot and scheme in the last days of a doomed evil empire! The core setting is the Thirty-First century AD, when a cruel magical empire is on the verge of finally being ground into the dust where it belongs. But what happens when the Great War is over, and the magical towers of the Universal Dominion are toppled, once and for all?
There's also plenty of stuff for people who just like the Fermi Resolution books, starting with the books themselves as add-ons. The Fermi Resolution Worldbook will have lore about the setting, hints of things to come in future books, and even a spoiler or two. Plus pictures! And maps! All professionally drawn! No AI! A human made all of it. A human wrote all of it, too.
Future stretch goals involves examining other points in the Fermi Resolution's future history. If we hit it, I will also release a combination guide and adventure for playing in the year 2250 AD. The scars of the end of the world are still fresh, but the Universal Dominion has not yet risen to dominate the middle of the North American continent. There are more nations, just starting to pick themselves out of the rubble to rebuild. The apocalypse is halfway from its transformation from history to myth. Things are raw, dangerous, and chaotic - in other words, it's a great time for adventuring.
Note: the art is by the really-should-be-better-known Ben Fleuter. His 'working occult technology' aesthetic was a perfect fit for this project, and I got as much of it as I could.
Past that? I certainly have plans for two more time periods: 2535 AD, the time of Tom Vargas (hero of my fantasy detective series); and 2807 AD, the year the centuries-long Great War finally began. I already have maps for all three settings.
