I'm a mother of two great kids, 27 & 19, and an Aunt to many. I've been married for 23+ years, to the most wonderful man I've ever met, and I've been reading Mercedes Lackey for longer than all of that! My mother introduced me to The Last Herald Mage series when I was in college. She sent me the Last Herald Mage trilogy and there was no looking back. Mercedes became my favorite author of all time. I believe I own nearly every Mercedes Lackey book/novel/short story ever written (in some form or another) with the exception of one or two historical fictions I haven't gotten to yet, including a bunch of her collaborations with other exceptional authors.  I have EVERY Valdemar Novel, (some in multiple formats, because we all know there is no one true way!) and have spent the last few days combing through stuff I read 20 years ago looking for answers I didn't know off the top of my head. (Hangs head in shame.) I was thrilled to be involved with the first Kickstarter and so excited to be in line for this one. I can't wait!
