FOREVER GAME MASTER, AT YOUR SERVICE
The thing I love about roleplaying games is the emergent, collaborative creation of an exciting story by the players and the GM. I derive great satisfaction and fun from gaming when my players and I become fully absorbed in the fiction we are co-creating.
I started roleplaying with the 1979 Dungeons & Dragons Basic Set. I had no idea what to do with it, but its very presence in my home piqued my interest and caused me to seek out friends who knew how to play. I eventually got the hang of it.
Since then, I've played Traveller, Tunnels & Trolls, Rolemaster, Middle Earth Roleplaying, D&D 3.5 & 4, Call of Cthulhu, Blood Sword, The One Ring, Microscope, Savage Worlds, and Pathfinder as a PC. I've gm'd Eclipse Phase (first and second editions), Traveller, Numenera, No Thank You, Evil!, Mouse Guard, Torchbearer, Call of Cthulhu 7th Ed., Blades in the Dark, Tales from the Loop, and Dune: Adventures in the Imperium.
I have backed several games on Kickstarter and Backerkit, including (most recently) Deathmatch Island. Additionally, I have invested in the Roll20 Compendiums for Agon, Dune: Adventures in the Imperium, Tales From the Loop, Call of Cthulhu, Mothership, Fiasco, Blades in the Dark, Band of Blades, Scum and Villainy, Zombie Apocalypse, and Black Void.
In 2022 I ran a Dune: Adventures in the Imperium campaign which allowed me the ability to draw upon my decades of engagement with this fiction. I had already read the entire original series, and most of the Brian Herbert + Kevin J. Anderson books, as well as having studied the David Lynch & Dennis Villeneuve films and the Syfy Channel miniseries.
Next up: A new season Deathmatch Island begins, and a fantastic story will emerge from our play. I can't wait to co-create that story as it comes to life in our game on Roll20.
