Hello! My name is Yakiq, and this is my first attempt at a Backerkit Project. I am hoping this will go much better than my attempts of previous projects from different sites! I have so much passion for this project, it has been in the works for about 2 years! I hope you will enjoy!

Creating a successful project has always been a dream to me. I want to be able to help support my family as much as I can, and doing so by creating things I love! I live in a small household with family occupying 6 people. I have slept and drawn on a couch for many years. I dream of having my own room for my own privacy and to work on bigger projects. My mother and I have applied for low income apartments, but wait times can be 10+ years. With many bills to pay, I am constantly low on funds and have been surviving from commission to commission work. I have lots of trouble applying for retail jobs. I've tried applying for months with no luck. So I am constantly trying my best to come up with more ideas for my art career!

✦ LED Lamp Project ✦

I started this project back in December 2022. I've made a couple of designs: Venti & Xiao. Here are a few pictures of the prototypes:

These were my first designs of LED lamps. I loved the idea of drawing characters with their ascension materials or regional flowers/plants. Venti with Cecilias / Xiao with Qingxins. I continued with the idea and remade Venti and the other archons. ( Xiao has not been remade for this project, but if this goes well I will design other characters! )

✦ LED LAMP DETAILS ✦

 The lamps are 8" custom made, round cut with smooth edges. They come with a USB powered base paired with a small remote used to changed the color of the LED. The LED comes with many different colors ( not just Red, Blue & Green ) with many options to animate the colors. Comes with USB cable.

✦ GOALS ✦

LED lamps are very pricy to produce! So I will need much help to reach my goals. My initial goal is $1k to produce at least one of the lamps, increasing by $1k for each additional lamp capping at ~$6k! If the project reaches the goal early, I will be ordering prototypes for each lamp to show off!

For EU and UK backers, due to the complicated VAT regulation, any import taxes, service or customs fee are NOT covered. You will be responsible for any duties, taxes, or fees incurred on your package.

Due to colors being different on monitors, there may be some difference between the colors on screen and on the physical product(s).

Please be aware of any new laws, such as VAT & GSPR, concerning shipment of international imported goods. You will receive a notice of failed delivery and will be refunded only if the package returns to me. Refunds will not include shipping & fees.

Depending on where you live, please be aware international shipping will be expensive! Lamps will be mailed in 10"x8"x2.7" shipping boxes—larger depending on how many lamps purchased. International shipping can range from $20-$60 shipping for one LED lamp depending on your location. Pricing may be increased depending on how many lamps purchased. Please be sure to have the funds to purchase shipping if you need to pay more for your package. If you cannot pay the required funds for shipping, your pledge will be refunded discarding additional fees. If you'd like to edit your pledge to a cheaper option, or even ask me how much shipping would be to your country, please don't be afraid to ask me! Depending on your pledge, you will still be granted the freebies / exclusives! I'd be happy to include a public sheet of country shipping prices and update as prices are found!
