Thanks so much for checking out my latest project, Build Your RPG Kitty! I am Catherine, the creator of Walnut And Clam! I started designing RPG inspired cats back in 2020, one of the earliest hard enamel pin projects I created as a pin designer. Just like many artists, I use my designs to express my thoughts, interests and ideologies, and my RPG cats were one of them. Over the years, I have created many non-RPG arts, but from time to time, I always come back to this theme, as it has a special place in my heart~
The idea of this project comes from building your character before the start of a RPG, where you have to pick out your character, deciding what clothes to wear, adding accessories, etc. Similarly, here you can pick out the cat that appeals to you the most, choose the attire, pick a weapon, and if still got some extra gold in your coin purse, why not get an item too? You never know when it will come in handy!
Not interested in building a character, but want to collect the items or weapons instead? That's totally fine too! However, please note that individual cats or magnetic gears will only be available as add-ons. Please check out all the different pledge levels to decide what work best for you!
Before we dive into the designs, I am really excited to announce that this campaign is a Pintopia 2025 crowdfunding project! It is a special project in which I collaborate with another talented artist, Frost Dragon (see link for their project), to bring you an exclusive crossover pin that will be offered to all backers as a freebie!! Frost Dragon has designed numerous RPG cat pins, ran many successful crowdfunding projects, and I can't express how excited I am to partner up with them on this cross-collab project!
To get the above freebie pins, here is what we need to do:
1. Both Frost Dragon and my project will need to be 100% funded. 2. You will need to support both of our projects (any physical item reward tier).
Now, let's take a closer look at all the designs from my campaign!
For this project, there are going to be a total of 13 enamel pins and four magnetic attires (not a pin). The prices are going to be slightly different depending on what you are getting, but the pledge levels should be quite self-explanatory. Let's take a look at all the designs!
Here is the fun part! If you backed both Frost Dragon and my campaign, and both of our campaigns are 100% funded, then you have unlocked a secret character, the undead cat ~~~
There are four magnetic attires you can get for this campaign - Fighter, Wizard, Rogue, and Ranger. The magnetic attire will have a magnet embedded on the underside, and you will be able to attach it onto any of the kitty pins shown in the above section (see below diagram).
IMPORTANT!! The magnetic attire when attached to the kitty pin, is recommended to be DISPLAY ONLY, and not to be worn on a bag or clothes, etc. The magnets on the attires is not strong enough to withstand being worn like a regular pin. If you would like to wear the kitty pin with the attire, please only consider doing with an Ita bag, so that even if the attire got detached, it won't be lost. Please also take extra care when attaching/ detaching the attire to the bodies, as some of the kitty pins g6have screen-printed details on it, and the screen-print might get scratched by the magnet if it is slid with force.
How fun would it be when you can turn your character into mini figures? This gives me the inspiration to create a set of stickers that looks like mini figures (before they were built~)! These character stickers are approximately 3" wide, and will only be available as add-ons during the campaign. You can either get them individually or as a sticker pack. Stickers are unlocked when project is 100% funded!
Now let's take a look at the unlocking schedule! The initial goal will unlock three pins and two magnetic attires! These include black kitty, orange tabby kitty, undead kitty(freebie cross-collab pin), fighter magnetic gear, and wizard magnetic gear. Each sequential stretch goal will unlock new cats/gears/items. See below~
Shipping fee will be collected separately from the pledge after the campaign ends. This means your credit card will be charged twice. Once for your pledge for the pins/ stickers, once for shipping fee/ pledge manager add-ons. Here is the estimated shipping cost for each country:
United States
US: $10 - $18 CAD (with tracking). The full set of pins from this KS plus sticker set and sticker sheet will be $10 CAD. Anything extra will subject to additional cost based on weight.
Canada
Approx. $5 CAD - $21 CAD depending on the weight of your order and delivery address(see below)
Australia/ New Zealand: ~$25+ CAD (with tracking)
Singapore: ~ $18+ CAD (with tracking)
Japan/ Korea: ~$20 + CAD (with tracking)

Canadian backers -I will be collecting GST/HST for all Canadian pledges along with shipping charges after the campaign ends, and remitting the GST/HST back to the Canadian government. Customer will be responsible for any provincial taxes.
US and International Backers - Backers are responsible for tax/custom fees.
