In the realm of DuelGeon, victory is the only option. After a cataclysmic event shattered the world, ancient, ever-shifting ruins—known as DuelGeons—rose from the earth, pulsing with mysterious, volatile energy. Within these cursed labyrinths lie Extraction Crystals, the last hope for saving the adventurers' homelands.
But these ruins are anything but abandoned.
Guarded by monstrous creatures infused with the same corrupt energy as the treasures they protect, the DuelGeons offer no mercy. Traps lurk in every shadow, and danger is a constant companion. To survive, adventurers must not only outwit these threats but also face off against one another. There is no honor here—only the desperate scramble for power.
As the ruins collapse around them, only the adventurer with the most crystals will escape with their life. The rest will be lost to the abyss, their greed and courage swallowed by the DuelGeons forever.
I am a huge fan of games like Dark and Darker, Escape from Tarkov and other extraction type games that let you push you luck and take chances while also planning and having options for how to use the resources available to you. After working on a more complex game concept for a few years I realized it could be an amazing idea to try and make a more compact and clean version that anyone could pick up and enjoy!
This combines all of my favorite gaming elements, including hidden information, loot management, player strategy, and messing with your friends, into something truly unique in the tabletop space and an absolute blast to play!
