Ogre Miniatures Second Edition takes Ogre Miniatures and the 2008 Ogre Miniatures Update and combines them with new material from the Ogre Sixth Edition rulebook to create a completely revised and updated version. Included with the book are record cards for all known Marks and styles of Ogres, a Reference Sheet, and full-color die-cut blast templates, markers, and craters.

Ogre Sixth Edition features large 3-D constructible models for the Ogres and Command Posts, with oversized, full-color counters for regular units. The Ogres come in a new, stylish blood-red and gunmetal-grey color scheme. The garage-style box inlay is big enough to store the constructed models comfortably. Two pearl-white dice are included.

Ogre Battlefields contains two giant double-sided maps, each one 28.5" by 33". If you have the Ogre Designer's Edition, these link to the four green maps in that set. If you have Ogre Sixth Edition, they will give you a giant new gameboard with multiple types of terrain.

Battlefields also includes: Scenarios for the new maps, a complete Ogre rulebook. more than 70 game counters, including Light Artillery Drones and Heavy Weapons Teams, four buildable Ogres with erasable record cards and three extra cards, and more than 40 two-sided map overlays – terrain, road, and rail – for an infinite number of variations on the board.
