You may have come to this project but have no crowdfunding experience. Before we go any further with the question at the end of the post (see below), this is how this project will go.
How does Terraforming Mars crowdfunding work?
If you haven't participated in crowdfundings before, no problem! It's very easy.
Terraforming Mars TTRPGcrowdfunding works like a pre-sale. In other words, you reserve your items in advance, and they will be delivered directly to your home when they are produced. With all the guarantees that Shadowlands Games offers. Also, Backerkit is a reliable platform that will help you manage your pledge.
It differs from a pre-sale in the items you will get. It is a collaborative effort, so the more people who support the project, the bigger it will be and the more rewards you will get for your support! How? Let’s see.
Rewards and stretch goals
When we refer to rewards, we mean all the digital and/or physical items included in your pledge level. The core book, a map… all these are rewards and you will get them if you get them. But there is more.
However, to thank you for your early commitment, in addition to the items you choose, there are a number of stretch goals that will be unlocked to add more content and rewards, include extras and make the best edition possible. For the same contribution!
Because the more funding Terraforming Mars TTRPG gets, the more rewards you get as a backer.
Terraforming Mars TTRPG Phases
Opening. As a follower, you will be notified when the project opens (March 11th). Your will be the first to know, and you can take advantage of the Early Bird offers (special Backerkit discounts during the first hours).
Pledge levels. There will be packs for backers with special price. They will include different items and rewards, depending on the pledge amount. You can choose the one that fits you, and you will change the pledge level (even cancel it) any minute. Once you choose your pledge, Backerkit will ask you for a payment method, but it will not be charged at this point.
Ending. After ending, Backekit will collect all funds. They will contact you via email in case any issue arises.
Pledge manager. After the ending, you will be invited to the pledge manager. You will be able to manage your pledge, choose your language, include add-ons, complete your shipping info and pay shipping costs.
Development and production.
The more followers and backers of Terraforming Mars TTRPG, the more help this project will get. Help us to have more visibility by spreading the word. Altogether, we can make the biggest campaign start when it opens, the best edition possible and the more rewards for everyone!

Sabemos que puede que hayas llegado a este proyecto pero no tengas experiencia en mecenazgos. Antes de seguir con la pregunta del final del mensaje, así es como va a ser este proyecto.
¿Cómo funciona el mecenazgo de Terraforming Mars?
Si no has participado en mecenazgo antes, ¡no hay problema! Es muy fácil.
El mecenazgo de Terraforming Mars TTRPG funciona como una preventa. Es decir, reservas tus artículos con antelación, y te los entregan directamente en casa cuando se produzcan. Con todas las garantías que ofrece Shadowlands Games. Además, Backerkit es una plataforma fiable que te ayudará a gestionar tu contribución.
Se diferencia de una preventa en los artículos que recibirás. Es un esfuerzo colaborativo, así que cuantas más personas apoyen el proyecto, más grande será y más recompensas obtendrás por tu apoyo. ¿Cómo? Veamos.
Recompensas y objetivos de expansión
Cuando nos referimos a recompensas, nos referimos a todos los artículos digitales y/o físicos incluidos en tu nivel de contribución. El libro básico, suplementos, un mapa… todo esto son recompensas y las conseguirás si las consigues. Pero hay más.
Sin embargo, para agradecerte tu compromiso, además de los artículos que elijas, hay una serie de metas que se desbloquearán para añadir más contenido y recompensas, incluir extras y hacer la mejor edición posible. ¡Por la misma contribución! Porque cuanta más financiación consiga Terraforming Mars, el juego de rol de mesa oficial, más recompensas obtendrás como mecenas.
Fases de Terraforming Mars, el juego de rol de mesa
Apertura. Como seguidor, recibirás una notificación cuando se abra el proyecto (el 11 de marzo). Serás el primero en saberlo, y podrás aprovechar las ofertas Early Bird (descuentos especiales de Backerkit durante las primeras horas).
Niveles de contribución. Habrá paquetes para mecenas con precio especial. Incluirán diferentes artículos y recompensas, según la cantidad de contribución. Puedes elegir el que se adapte a ti, y podrás cambiar el nivel de contribución (incluso cancelarlo) en cualquier momento. Una vez que elijas tu contribución, Backerkit te pedirá un método de pago, pero no se cobrará en este momento.
Finalización. Después de finalizar, Backerkit recaudará todos los fondos. Se comunicarán contigo por correo electrónico en caso de que surja algún problema.
Pledge manager. Poco después de finalizar, serás invitado al administrador de contribuciones. Podrás administrar tu contribución, elegir tu idioma, incluir complementos, completar tu información de envío y pagar los costos de envío.
Desarrollo y producción.
Cuantos más seguidores y mecenas tenga Terraforming Mars TTRPG, más ayuda recibirá este proyecto y más grande será. Ayúdanos a tener más visibilidad difundiendo el mensaje. ¡En conjunto, podemos hacer que la campaña comience con la mayor cantidad de dinero posible, la mejor edición posible y más recompensas para todos!
