So long for now
Hey folks, due to a literal dozen factors, we have decided to delay Unraveled indefinitely. We're looking at 2027, but our 2026 slate is currently full. At the end of the day, it came down to a couple of deciding factors: (1) We have a few smaller, passion projects we ran in 2025 that are stacking up and we want to get fulfilled so that they dont overwhelm the team, and (2) We have a lot of big projects this year that will require our full attention.
MythCraft WILL be expanding this year, I can't share how or what exactly, but our first major expansion since Veil of the Eternal Night will be launching in July.
To that end, all reservations will be refunded. Backerkit is working on it now, and estimated it will take ~5 days.

That said, here's some art to torture you with while you wait for Unraveled to regain its status of Active Development:
The Short Version: Unraveled is being delayed until February 2026.
The longer version: We were racing the holidays, and unfortunetly the pieces, samples, and my own time resource just isn't there, and I have learned some lessons from Veil of the Eternal Night, Bria's Mythical Menagerie. and the other bagillion crowdfunders I work on now through Vala Marketing.
I want Unraveled to be special. From the physical products, to the game design, and for right now, that means taking a lap.
We are INSTEAD launching a smaller campaign, Cloven Lands, on Nov 7th.
Game of Thrones meets Succession in this robust political intrigue campaign for MythCraft and 5e.
The debut MythCraft campaign is going to print for the first time ever, and gets a conversion to D&D 5e. The hardcover, premium print quality campaign book will be 350+ pages with over 90 maps. PDF and VTT options will be available as well.
Check it out, and hopefully it holds you over while we keep cooking Unraveled.

You know how much we love our math rocks! We have developed 3 completely unique and custom dice offerings!
M'L'ykkri Flesh Cubes - Sharp Edge Decal Dice
Our mid-tier dice this campaign are the M'L'ykkri Flesh Cubes. DO NOT EAT THESE DICE. I don't know what was more fun, trying to explain these to our amazing designers at Vala Marketing, or trying to communicate the vision to the factory, but we're prototyping now to see if we can bring these to life! There are some new technologies we're trying out with decals, if those don't work, the look might change slightly, as we'll use a water transfer method.
Our Premium dice will be the Unraveled Sticker dice! I have fallen in love with this method of dice creation, they're basically dice inside dice, where the inner CORE has super cool high res stickers printed on, and then they get DOUBLE DIPPED to make a clear sharp edge outer shell where the numbers are painted on. The result is BEAUTIFUL.
And of course, don't forget the Official Unraveled Dice set! Our starter set will be beautiful marbled tumble dice with the Unraveled colors and a custom icon on the d20's 20!

In Unraveled you will be able to choose a Career and Lineage in character creation. These will give you some starting skills, equipment, and abilities to customize your character, even before starting to think about how you'll spend your talent points.

Great question, and one that pops the hood a little, so take a seat. I wanna be honest with you: It's mostly for marketing, with some extra benefits.
So buckle up: One, and the primary reason, is to separate the looky-loo, low-intent clicks from those who are genuinely interested or already planning to pledge. This allows us to have SOME idea of how much we will fund for, which means we can be realistic about what's in the campaign. Then, instead of making Stretch Goals a wish list, they become improvements and bonuses to the pledges. Followers pledge at a rate of 10-30%, which is a massive range and hard to account for. This means both our pre-campaign (gaining followers) and mid-campaign (pushing stretch goals) marketing is vastly improved.
Two, we've run two wildly popular VIP programs for Bria's Mythical Menagerie and Veil of the Eternal Night and have received no complaints. They're fun, they work, and everyone wins.
Three, I would rather spend marketing $$ on you all, than giving the Zuckubus or g̬̗̬o̜͔̻̮̊̚o̪̍ͪ͌g̞̰̩̙l̲̪̹̃e̻͈̗̥̭̾̌͆ more dollars for ads to gain more followers. (These items cost more than we're asking for, of course, they just cost less than blind advertising.)
