Celestial Insects is a project to fund a brand new collection of enamel pins inspired by cool bugs with a celestial twist! This project is part of Pintopia 2025, and is for anyone who enjoys monsters, fantasy and astral themes.

This is my first time using Backerkit but I've successfully funded 3 Kickstarter campaigns in the past, all for Enamel Pins. I'm excited to see where this new project takes me as I've always wanted to design some larger, more detailed pins.

This time I thought it would be interesting to combine my love of Insects with an ethereal, celestial theme, and I hope you like my new designs - please scroll down to take a look!
The gold pins will be hard enamel, and the rainbow pins will be soft enamel. Hard-enamel means that the coloured enamel is on a level with the surface of the metal, while as soft enamel will dip below the level of the metal outlines.
These are large pins, at 2 inches wide each!
All pins will have 2 posts and rubber back clutches
They will all come on backing cards, which will be unique to this collection! I will be posting updates on the design throughout the campaign via updates.
Backerkit pledgers will pay less per pin here than when they go into my online store later in the year!
The Goals!
The Initial goal of £400 will unlock the first design, The Celestial Mantis, and the other five designs will be unlocked as stretch goals:
At £800 we will unlock the Celestial Stag Beetle design:
At £1,200 we will unlock the Celestial Moth design:
At £1,600 we will unlock the Rainbow version of the Celestial Mantis design:
At £2,000 we will unlock the Rainbow version of the Celestial Stag design:

Additional designs may be added if the campaign does really well - I will of course update you all as we go!

For our freebies we decided to collaboratively design two 1 inch enamel pins that combine into a single image when displayed together and reflect our individual themes! These pins will be 1" wide each, to form a 2" wide combined design when lined up!
I designed the right-hand side, and Abi Stevens designed the left-hand side!
Shipping will be charged after the campaign ends, as part of the survey process. Please note that unlike Kickstarter, these costs are NOT INCLUDED in the pledge total before the campaign ends.
Tracking is NOT included by default, as I am based in the UK - this will be an optional extra for you to add once the campaign finishes, should you wish to do so.
For international ( non UK ) backers:
Backers are responsible for any customs or taxes that may be charged once the package enters your country.
No refunds or replacements will be provided if your package is Returned To Sender of lost due to unpaid fees.

These above estimates are based on current Royal Mail prices and the weight of 1 to 6 pins. Actual shipping will be charged during surveys at the end of the campaign, please bear this in mind.
