Hello! My name is Pavel, and I want to invite you to a world I've been working on for quite some time. Let me introduce you to my game, Cosmic Lords – a space sci-fi project that needs your support to become a reality.
I am an independent developer working entirely on my own – from design, programming, and testing to graphics and promotion. The game is now at a stage where the game engine is complete, and individual missions are playable, but a few key elements are still missing to turn the project into a full-fledged game. With your support, Cosmic Lords can make its way to mobile devices and standalone platforms.
About Cosmic Lords
Cosmic Lords is a futuristic space game where three warring factions of humanity clash over the precious resources of celestial bodies. What they don't realize is that a common enemy lurks somewhere in the depths of space.
The game begins with a story that explores the technological, scientific, and political developments on Earth from the 21st to the 22nd century, setting the stage for the game's events. You then choose one of three factions that best aligns with your preferences and dive into the action.
What Does Cosmic Lords Offer?
1. Your Space Adventure:
- Explore unknown planets, colonize asteroids, and search for mineral and energy reserves.
- Face challenging missions such as conquering enemy bases or exploring abandoned factories.
2. Upgrades and Crafting:
- Manage in-game resources and finances, build equipment, upgrade robots, and craft new weapons.
- Robots have their own equipment and can be customized and enhanced to meet your specific needs.
- Beyond standard robots and items, you can acquire rare robots, weapons, and gear that can be upgraded to unique levels.
3. Diverse Game Modes:
- Singleplayer: Experience a variety of missions that dynamically unlock based on your progress or appear randomly over time. From seizing asteroids and attacking enemy starships to uncovering hidden undergrounds or abandoned factories, each playthrough guarantees a fresh and surprising adventure.
- Mini-Games: Engage in modes like Arena, Survival, Team Capture, or new challenges inspired by popular titles such as Robokill, Turret Defense, or Brawl Stars. These modes bring intense combat, strategic defense, and team battles. They offer endless gameplay possibilities and valuable rewards such as robots, resources, and occasionally rare blueprints for crafting new items and robots.
4. Planned Multiplayer as a Future Expansion:
Multiplayer modes (cooperation and competition between players) are planned after the completion of the singleplayer version of the game. Although they are not part of the current financial goal, their development will be funded from the game’s revenues if it is successful, or by reaching higher goals in this campaign.
5. Free-to-Play Model with a One-Time Fee to Unlock the Full Shop:
- Cosmic Lords will not include advertisements or charge for the game itself. You can enjoy the game for free, but if you wish to unlock the full in-game shop (with a larger selection and rarer items), a one-time small fee will be required.
- Players with full access to the shop will not only be able to purchase but also sell robots and items for real money, meaning you could even earn money from the game. This player-to-player trading is already planned and will be available even before the full multiplayer is introduced, allowing the community to engage with the game's economy right from the start.

Although the game engine is largely complete, Cosmic Lords still requires:
- Connecting individual missions into a chronological and logical structure to provide a meaningful campaign.
- Adding content: Terrain objects, robots, weapons, items, and their attributes.
- Sound effects: Adding realistic sound effects to enhance the gameplay experience.
- User account database: This is essential for saving each player's current game state and ensuring the functionality of player-to-player trading.
- Hiring additional team members: Your support will allow me to speed up development and ensure higher project quality.
