Hi there (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) .ᐟ.ᐟ My name is Gomi, the person behind GomiPon. I am a digital artist who is inspired by anime, 'kawaii' culture, goth/edgy style and adorable merchandise. I am still a fairly new small business, making my first few items near the end of 2020. Though, I hope to continue my brand and dream! I want to create and share my passion for all these cute things with others.
I'm so excited to share this project, as it will be my first ever Backerkit campaign and 4th crowdfunding campaign ever. I really wanted to work on making more original pieces, so what better way to do so than for my first Pintopia? I get really nervous about doing original work, but I hope you guys like these designs and can make this project a success! Not only does your pledge help production cost, you are able to get these pins at a discount others won't get.

CHEAPER PRICING! To help fund these designs, I do exclusive crowd-funding pricing that is lower than retail once going into my shop. These pins are priced at $13 each, but once the campaign is over and the leftovers go into my shop they will be anywhere from $15-18 each.

WELCOME TO PINTOPIA — a celebration of creativity and collaboration from a diverse group of over 175 creators collectively launching their pin and/or plushie project on BackerKit from January 23rd - February 13th.
For all you pin-collectors out there, we want to reward your achievements with a limited Gold Pintopia 2025 pin once you support 10+ projects (this reward will be surveyed and shipped by the BackerKit team).
All designs are about 1.75 inches! Some may be a bit smaller or larger based on the design, but they will all be around that base size. Details regarding the pins will be listed with the design and vary.
Please note: Artwork and size are subject to change! Colors may vary between your monitor's colors and the physical product once made. These are just mock-ups and samples for how they will be.

Shipping will be charged AFTER the campaign ends, SEPERATELY from your pledge amount, when the BackerKit post-campaign survey is sent out for you to fill.

Due to world events, postal services may have some delay. Please understand that once the package has left my hands and is given to the postal service, it is out of my control.
This is a rough estimate of the campaign production, shipping and mailing out! These dates are tentative and subject to change depending on the process.
January 23rd: Campaign starts and runs for 21 days
February 13th: Campaign ends
End of February: Funds arrive into my account and surveys send out
Beginning ofMarch: Surveys close and begin production
End of June: Pins send out to me, quality checking and prepping
Early July: Addresses locked, packaging pledges and shipping them out to you guys!
Please note: It can take anywhere from 2-4 months for my manufacture to finish all the designs. If there are any updates or delays, you will be notified on this campaign or my socials! I will try my best to get these graded, packaged and shipped out to everyone once they are in my hands.
ღ PRODUCTION ღ I am confident with the pin manufacture I currently have. I've been working with them for the last couple years now on multiple projects. I am well prepared for any challenges that we may face and know they will be there to fix any problems that arise. There may be some delays due to production issues, but I will always openly communicate and let you guys know everything that is currently happening. I will make sure to post updates here as well as other platforms to make sure everyone is informed.
ღ THE PINS ღ - Slight adjustments to designs or colors may be made during the manufacturing phase. - Samples will be ordered for most of the designs before going into mass production, though not all of them will - Colors of finished product may slightly differ from the mock-up shown. All enamel colors are mixed by hand and I will be using the Pantone color matching system. - Chance of manufacturing defects. Since these are hand-made, this leaves room for human error. We try our best to give backers standard grade items! - Please refer to our pin grading system to understand how pins are to be graded: https://gomipon.com/pages/grading-scales
ღ FULFILLMENT PROCESS ღ GomiPon is ran by one person, though we will be trying to get some help due to the amount of products. Please understand we are trying our best to get everything out to you all in a timely manner. - Chances of packaging and shipping delays if this project receives a large amount of backers. - All addresses and shipping labels are manually entered one by one, which can take a longer amount of time. Please be patient with me as I do this and also try to find an easier, bulk way of generating the shipping labels. - Backers are responsible for any additional important taxes, custom fees, service fees and duties established by their country. These fees are not included, remitted or charged by me. If you do not pay these charges, shipping may need to be paid again if returned to sender and no refunds will be issued whatsoever.
ღ REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS ღ Refunds, returns and cancellations are not accepted after the campaign ends. Funds are used directly towards production. - If you do not fill out your survey within 3 months of being sent, your pledge will assumed as donation and collected as such. Refunds for this are not available. - We will post many updates reminding those to complete their surveys and regarding important information, so please be sure to check your email! - If you do not receive your package due to incorrect address info you provided, we are unable to help you with reshipment/refunds. We are not responsible for incorrect addresses or delivered packages to a wrong address. PLEASE check your address carefully!! You will have time to change your address up until we are ready to start shipping out items. - We will remind backers to update or change their address multiple times. Once the last call is made for address checks, you will no longer be able to change your shipping information after.
