August 17-20 is the most wonderful time of the year, especially if you’re a gaming fanatic. For four days in August, Indianapolis will be gripped by Gen Con fever – and so will we.
This year marks Gen Con’s 50th anniversary. The conference is one of the longest running and largest of its kind in the world.
Some 60,000 gaming diehards descend upon the conference, which showcases creators of board games, card games, computer and video games, live-action role-playing games, miniatures and much more. There are costume contests, sci-fi and fantasy art shows, and a dizzying array of seminars and panels featuring industry and media celebrities. The 10,000 square-foot True Dungeon is the icing on the cake.
We’re excited to host a panel called ‘Play Another Round?: Engaging Your Truest Fans Between Projects’ on August 18.
The panel will discuss the best strategies for cultivating and nurturing a community of fans for your game, identifying your most ardent supporters, and keeping them engaged and excited about your forthcoming projects.
Our esteemed panelists include:
- Luke Crane – Head of Games at Kickstarter
- Adam Poots – Adam Poots Games (Kingdom Death)
- Peter Vaughan – Game Designer at Breaking Games (Rise of Tribes)
- Jon Ritter – Co-Founder at Lay Waste Games (Dragoon) & Founder of Eleven Metal
We can’t wait to pick their brains, hear their stories, and soak up their expertise. That date again: August 18, 3 pm at Crowne Plaza, Grand Central Station D.
See you there!
