MURENGA is a sci-fi thriller bonzo (African comic) created by members of the team behind Disney Animation’s IWAJU, and the company that brought you the record-breaking African comic NANI. With the political intrigue of V for Vendetta and the pacing of Saga, and influence taken from books like N.K. Jemisin’s The Fifth Season, and Jeff VanderMeer’s Annihilation, this comic takes inspiration from a wide range of sci-fi and fantasy sources but roots itself firmly in Kugali’s African Pantheon of stories.
